New King James Version Bible Reviews

I enjoy NewKingJamesVersionBible. It’s simple to use and I especially like the way the pages flip as though they are virtually paper. However I confess I am used to the scrolling wheel and having to search through the main menu seems a bit clunky to me. Why not make the search option easier albeit quicker too by using a “Quick Menu” at the top? 🤔

NewKingJamesVersionBible is fantastic! I love that there is apps out there that spread the gospel. Couldn’t be more happy with the highlighting,notetaking,etc. Maybe add more of a variety with colors, but that is not really a big issue for me. If I had to change anything, I would make mini lessons and go more into depth with the daily verses so everyone can get the main point of the verse and how it can relate to them in someway. Be relatable! Another thing is that once you choose a chapter and finish reading it, you have to scroll all the way down just to get to the book you want to read... this can be a little frustrating, so if you could possibly fix that it would be great! Again, I absolutely love NewKingJamesVersionBible, and don’t regret getting it. Jesus loves you! -John 3:16.

I thought I was getting the NKJV of the Bible and had started verbally transferring my notes from another app. (I upgraded devices and needed a new app because, sadly NewKingJamesVersionBible I had used for years is no longer available). I didn’t realize until after I began the long endeavor to moving my notes from another app to this one that this is not what I wanted. I am so VERY DISAPPOINTED. Please correctly title this version of the Bible to the KVJ and NOT the NKJV. This Bible did seem to have everything else I want except it is the wrong version. It would be great if you could change to different versions of the Bible in NewKingJamesVersionBible (which is what I could do in the previous app).

With so many loose Bible translations available, it is a relief to get the NKJ audio Bible on my iPhone. I listen to it when my eyes are sore from working on the computer all day. The voice of the reader is pleasant to the listener.
I listen to it when I lay down to bask in the Word.
I read it for precise translation.
It makes a difference which translation you use, so thank you for including the NKJ version of the Bible.

I have another version that I really like but it started opening with a full screen ad, sometimes with audible, loud! Can’t open that in church!! I also have always used the KJV and am used to it, thought I’d try the NKJV. The highlighting option is also easy. I tried one version where I couldn’t remove a highlight, so I couldn’t use that to save my place, where I left off reading.

Typically, I don’t like updated versions of the King James Bible because they change the meaning of what God was trying to convey with their interpretations. But the New King James doesn’t fall victim to that. The main reason I downloaded it onto my phone is because Pastor Jack Hibbs from Calvary Chapel Chino Hills preaches from it and it’s just easier to follow along with his sermons if I have the same Bible that he uses.

NewKingJamesVersionBible has assisted me with carrying the Word wherever I go. I recently have started attending Bible Study and found it to be so interesting! Often now, I turn to NewKingJamesVersionBible to guide me as it is always with me to share the Word of our Lord and God along with other authors of the chapters.
Learning from the Old Testament is revealing much more of God’s Word as I was raised mainly on the Gospels of the New Testament. So happy I found YOU!

We need more conservative Bible lessons instilled and instituted into the lives of young people both Nationally and Abroad - we absolutely must encourage the Conservative Christian Way and abandon the “universalism” or “all-accepting” movements because THE LORD ALMIGHTY GOD has said it over and over in The Bible that HE IS GOD AND HIM ONLY, and furthermore HE DOES NOT EVER CHANGE! We need to teach this to young people and the best way is through the Conservative Christian Bible, King James Version, in LORD ALMIGHTY SAVIOR CHRIST JESUS’S NAME, Amen 🙏✝️

I love NewKingJamesVersionBible & I read from it every single day. I love this translation & the options I have within NewKingJamesVersionBible .
I have tried numerous times of opting ti remove the ads but nothing happens. PLEASE fix this or tell me what to do. I’ve tried with in NewKingJamesVersionBible & even came back to NewKingJamesVersionBible Store, but nothing is working. I’ve been able to remove ads from other apps, so I know it’s not me nor my phone.

I’m new to read in the Bible, and the more I read the more I want to read. The more I learn the more I want to learn. I’ve never been into reading books because they have never gave my full attention, The words and phrases still are hard for me to understand but I pray that as I read more and learn more that like a puzzle all this will come together by the grace of God.

I usually like reading the Bible at home but I find it very convenient to having the Bible on my cell phone at all times. To be able to pull the phone out of my pocket and to read Bible verses is awesome. Now I’m just waiting to have audio added then having the Bible on a hand held device will be truly amazing.

It’s free and has a table of contents.
You are able to bookmark, highlight and take notes.
If that is all you want and can’t afford an app that can do more then it is the one to buy if this is the version you like.
I have been a Christian for many years and I have read a lot of different versions so I need more even if I have to pay for it.
The old saying “ you get what you pay for” is true. You don’t have the right to complain and criticize if you paid nothing for this Bible.

As U probably know, after years of reading the scriptures, it becomes harder remembering (4 me ) where the Chapters & verses R. So we must thumb thru or index them, by then we have forgotten what was being said or what we we’re looking 4. THIS EDITION OF “THE KING JAMES VERSION” is exactly what I needed. It’s easy and quick to find what U want. Thanks to the APPS STORE for making this and other versions available to us.

I like it but it’s a New King James translation. It has thees and thous in the Bible
. If you look at Jeremiah chapter 1 you will find the words that are in there. I’m still going to keep it in my phone. But I wish it would be a study Bible you know would be totally New King James. I have the king James study Bible myself and I like it. But I just like to use the new king James because I find it easier if I don’t really want to do a study and I just want to read.

This wonderful book is filled with every answer you need in life. It has the answers for the good and the bad. I know some people may feel bored with it. I truly believe as you get closer to God the more you want to know about him. The Bible is that book you can go to whenever you have a problem. The Bible is your problem solver🤗🤗❤️❤️

I love this Bible and how accurate it is to the KJV Bible. Its word search option really helps me with my studies and questions. The dark mode option also helps when I’m trying to read at night without having a beacon of light disturb my roommates. Ten out of ten would suggest to others.

You supply GOD’S WORD, which is needed and you remind us, also. We do need to be reminded to read it in this busy and dangerous world. You, supplying the WORD helps keep me filled and have THE WORD to comfort me and to override all of the evil and negative. If I listen to the world too much, it can depress me. When I reflect back on THE WORD, I have hope. PRAISE JESUS for all of HIS promises. Thank you for supplying GOD’S WORD. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS.

Please change your App title. I should not have to read the reviews just to find out that this isn’t the version I intended to read. That’s pretty basic and a huge dealbreaker for me, thus the lower rating.
However if you like the old King James Version, except for a few misspellings here and there it seems like a great app. Works great, simple with no extraneous features but all that you would actually use. Bummer it’s not my version.

I am so happy to always have the Bible conviently with me ready to be read at anytime on my iPhone. There is never a time to be bored or look for something to do. I also love how fast I can get to any book or verse. I am encouraging all my friends to download the Bible. THANK YOU WHO HAVE MADE THIS POSSIBLE.

I do not like the way to get to the Index to change to another book in the Bible.
Why not while in a book, be able to press on that book heading and go to another book. Having to start from beginning of the Bible every time I want to search a scripture annoying and time consuming. Others have the same and it’s doesn’t make me agrivated.

I absolutely love NewKingJamesVersionBible. It inspires me, supports me, and reminds me daily that I am never alone. Thru NewKingJamesVersionBible I have been able to find direction at times of feeling directionless, love when unable to know love, and The Most High when feeling totally alone. I thank God everyday for NewKingJamesVersionBible... 🙏🏻❤️

Straight forward easy note and highlight features.
I Wish it had a Strongs concordance
and the option of other English translations like Amplified, Darby, ESV, KJV, AND THE 1881 RSV.
One thing it will not let me do is to buy out the adds that's the reason for four stars because it's annoying to read in dark mode with a white banner always present

Excellent Bible - organized and easy to read. I love the fact it offers a daily readings to read the Bible in one year. I can use the speaker to listen the scriptures during my workout, going to work or wherever I am. I absolutely love it and I would recommend to others.

I love this Bible app as I am able to highlight scriptures. And they have 4 different highlight colors to choose from. You also have the ability to underline a scripture. I wish they has the option to underline with ‘boldness’ and to ‘highlight’ on the same scripture but it’s wonderful to at least be able to highlight them.

The results of reading the truth is an amazing help while we navigate our way through unfamiliar situations in our daily living, it’s time such as these we need something concrete and also reliable!!!!!

Really loved this version than I started to have a problem with the daily reading. Regardless of what book it would call for it would go to Genesis and I would manually have to look up the scripture I was supposed to be reading for that day. It would do it for every book except Psalms.
