4.5 out of 5
Too expensive and a ripoff

We paid 10 dollars to get access to more bots which only lasted for a few hours before asking us to pay more and we were locked out. Other games would let you keep using the free version and the features you bought without restrictions

They are using this unethical tactic to get kids hocked and put parents under pressure from their kids to keep buying more features

This is a simple game and not worth more than 5 dollars

The game’s busted, sort of.

I don’t know if I’m looking at this game from the wrong perspective or not, but I think it’s absolutely criminal that the only way to progress to the end of the second scene is by purchasing a third character. The elements are there, but it just isn’t enough effort. Either that, or the developers don’t have the heart to make the purchases optional, and not a mandatory feature of the game. This is take it or leave it, a game for monetary gain and nothing more.

(Edited)
I wrote this review satisfied with what I said about this, but I changed my review from a 3 star into a 1 star when I saw the fake reviews rating this game 5 stars. What a disgrace.

Why bother?

This game is fun, and although you have to purchase bits it’s still fun. Except that in order to keep playing, you have to buy a new character. It’s a money trap! You buy the character, and it’s the same thing for the three bot levels, but with three bots. It’s stupid. At least make it so that after getting to that point you can select just one for free. Or just add new bots to make it more worth it. My sister loves this game, and was very upset she can’t play it anymore. Unfair. Please change this.

Please read!

I cannot believe Trans I’m very disappointed the first few rounds are very fun but then you are required to buy another rescue bot to continue playing what’s crazy is each rescue bot is $10 apiece! It’s it’s crazy that people even buy this! if you’re not willing to pay $10 to continue playing do not buy this whatsoever
And on my old iPad I bought every single one and when I went on my new phone, I tried to get them back and now I don’t even have them. It’s so annoying. Do not get this game unless you’re willing to spend money.

Not a free game

This game comes off as free but it’s not. You get a few levels to play but then are forced to have 3 or more characters but you can’t earn a third character you can only buy them rendering the game useless. My son got really into this game and wanted to know what else happens but we can’t continue because instead of grinding and earning a character through play you’re required to pay for them. The developer should just charge people from beginning since that was their plan all along. Disgusting tactic to lure kids and parents into paying for a game when they offer it as “free”. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME.

Huge disappointment, for my kid...

I’ve paid for games before and usually it’s because it starts off free and it turns out to be in a really good game so I enjoy playing it so much I feel like donating some money to the author of the game to buy power ups or whatever, my point when people try to force you into paying for character when you have to have three characters to play but they only let u choose two then pay for the third that’s BS thanks for letting my kid down, I think I’ll quit supporting the entire transformers franchise especially after that last movie you guys did, wow 2.99 to play a dumb game good education on being greedy fat cats, I could definitely go but I’ll just end with we’re all disappointed in you!

Worse than a bad report card

I have been trying to find a game that has good quality and it’s about Rescue Bots and if you want that to I would not recommend. On the first rescue there are to many gems with that you go into a pterodactyl form. With that you can’t pick any humans up in the buildings no matter you try. But there is a chance it’s just me and my fingers, I’m just going to take it seriously and call that out. Also it’s not realistic at all, I know the show isn’t ether but the voices on theses m-p-c’s so if your trying to find high quality and realistic I wouldn’t recommend

Frustrated grandchild

This game is terrible and very frustrating that you can’t move on to other levels without a purchase to unlock the 3rd rescue bot! Had to try and explain to my sobbing grandson that no matter what we did you have to spend money to keep playing and we are not spending the price of an actual toy to unlock the next bot! This is horrible for children’s games, it’s one thing to make adults pay to play adult games but to make a grandma that does not want to upset or let their grandchild down feel horrible to have to tell their grandchild no! This company and the creators of the game should be ashamed of themselves!

Parents beware

This is a predatory app designed to get your little ones hooked to the point that you need to spend way more money than this game would ever be worth in order to continue enjoying the game. You'll be in world of disappointment when your toddler comes begging to unlock the content needed to actually play the full game and try to explain why you're not wasting your money on this nonsense only to see sadness come across their innocent face when they don't understand why. I don't not support this type of pathetic profit grab that companies like this think is acceptable and to market and trick our children like this is repulsive by nature.

Important: This is really only a free demo

This game is fun for the kids. Great graphics. Very simple gameplay. All good for the toddler and preschooler. What is important to note is the game only gives 2 out of 7 bots. The rest must be purchased. However, the two bots you get Boulder and Chase can only defeat the first two zones. More bots are required to continue the game and those cost 2.99 per bot or 9.99 for the other five bots.

Great simple game. It should have been advertise as a demo and unlocked for the rest with one purchase. I think 2.99 is a fair price for all bots as each bot is simply a reskin of the other bots. All gameplay is exactly the same for all bots and all levels.

Family sharing? Hardly

I spent $10 to unlock all the bots on my son’s iPhone and then tried to share the purchase on my daughter’s phone. It won’t work. So apparently the family sharing claim isn’t accurate. I’ll definitely make sure I don’t trust Budge when it comes to games. I’ve bought all these Rescue bot games and some of the other transformer games, and I’m too frustrated to continue to support the franchise using Trans Store. I’m certainly not going to spend another $10 to unlock the bots—which by the way seems to be a ridiculous price for the quality of the actual app. Plus according to other reviews here, people haven’t ever been able to restore their purchases when switching phones. Additionally it’s been 4 months since the dev updated anything. Really? We have a whole new iOS and no updates? Wish I could get my $10 back.

Same as the other Rescue Bots Game.

You start out with two characters, Blades and Boulder, and have to pay for the rest. Neat game but it’s the master of “Oh, this was cool, let’s make it the whole games thing!” The running from natural disaster stuff, saving people, gigantic morbot. And: the money. I have said before in a review for another game, you can call me a poor cheapie, but I’m legally not aloud to work, not many chores for me to do, no money to spend, and as a bonus: the other game has 6 playable characters: Chase, blades, boulder, heatwave, Optimus and Bumblebee, but 2 where free, Chase and blades, in disaster dash, theres Quickshadow, so the amount that’s free? 2/7. So, 4 stars, maybe 5 if I didn’t have to pay. Expansion to review: Just so you know, parts of the game requires 3 characters, meaning that some parts of the game require in game transactions for characters even though the level designs are playable with basically all of them. For the inconvenient level requirement, I changed it from 4/5 stars to 3/5.

Extra expansion to the review: This is gonna be a short one, but I don’t think I mentioned that you can’t replay levels. That means that the more work you do, the less fun the game allows. That’s why my review, now includes a 2 star rating.

Bugs need to be squished

Basically, I was playing and I got done with Griffin rock but there’s a flood city and the frozen city all needs three characters but the way I only had Bolger and played at the start and I didn’t get a new one when I completed flipping rock I even reset my game twice and the only other way you can get characters buy them. Can somebody please help me
(sidenote bungee I spent my money to try to get heat wave but then it took my money but then I said that it was declined, so can you please help me and give me my money back)

Kinda Disappointed

My little sister was enjoying the game until it asked for more bots in the team, I first thought she needed more points to unlock a character but turns out I need to pay for the characters in order to continue.
I was upset to see this since I see many games that do this ;pay to win,
but I do understand these companies want to make profit from their games ;I would feel the same way too, but I think it could be better if there was a way to earn the characters by hard work but still have the pay option on the side if the player keeps losing.

Other than that I think it would be the best option for everyone.

If you ever read this review and decide to change it, please don’t make the levels impossible for the kids to beat.

P.S if I was you, I’d take the prototype levels ; if you decide to take on the idea, and show it off to many kids, and see if they like it or not. In the end it’s your game so do as you wish.

I’d love it if…

I love Transformers, Optimus is king, and I like the rescue bots. Good concept, cool characters, and they at least didn’t do Optimus dirty, unlike other shows (beast wars/machines I’m looking in your direction) and this game, while fun and keeps the characters true to the show, you gotta buy the rest. All you get to start with is Blades and Boulder, but when you need more characters, you gotta buy them. Don’t love that. If they fixed that, this game would easily be 5 stars.

It’s a good game but

This game is one of the few I have played since I was younger too see it again made me happy but I don’t remember that u had too buy all of the characters honestly, I would understand if you made at least 1-3 that u will have too pay for but all of them is a lil much just too finish the game if u ask me only thing I’m trying too say was that u should have let us get 3 free characters at least so we can at least finish the game but it’s a good game.

I would recommend

This game is awesome but I find that having to pay for the other five auto bots is kinda stupid for a kids game I think they should have to unlock them in the different areas not having to pay I would love if you could fix that thank you sincerely Robert gardener.

Click restore your purchase!

Looks like a lot of people are having difficulties with family sharing, it actually works and I just did it. We bought the $10 pack, then re-download the game on another device > open the game > click the tool icon from main screen> enter the numbers given > click restore purchase! It’s that easy, restart Trans and all your characters should be there.

This is a real fun game for the kids! Great start for video game playing.
