Lastfm 100% doesn’t work for me anymore. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, i’ve tried turning my phone off and on. It will always freeze at the first page. I can’t scroll, can’t log scrobbles , or look at past data. I loved Lastfm and I hope you guys fix this.

Ever since the most recent update, sometimes when I open Lastfm I'll get stuck on the first screen and then it'll just crash and this continues to happen unless I delete Lastfm and reinstall but then I lose all the music I scrobbled in that time. Also sometimes when I scan my scrobbles it'll freeze on the submit screen and then crash and I'll lose those scrobbles.

If could give no stars I would Still can’t figure out how to even get Lastfm to work after an hour this is not easy to use and so far it’s impossible to work Lastfm all I want to do is listen to music while talking with friends on discord the old way was 1 million times better do not recommend

Whenever I try to scan for new scrobbles, my app crashes. Whenever I try to open Lastfm , Lastfm crashes. It’s as if anything I do in Lastfm, the end result always ends up with me crashing. I have noticed that this has only happened to me recently. Please fix your stupid app.

Like most other people are saying, the new app design is pretty bad and not user friendly. I also don’t know if this is a bug or not, but I can only see the top 3 artists/albums/songs for some of the timeranges. I think showing the top 50, top 8, or even top 5 would be more helpful and interesting.

Downloaded Lastfm yesterday and within half a day it managed to gain access to my phone’s imei (SIM card) and somehow manage to change the sim associated with my phone and wireless carrier . As well as gaining access to my Apple ID and being able to get my 2 factor authentication stuff from the phone ! It has my Apple ID locked out now and now It’s all a mess and pending re verification! I will be reporting this to apple and their support and fraud department! As well as my wireless carrier ! Then when that’s all done . I’ll be finding any and every method I can use to report Lastfm and this company to any agency willing to help

When Lastfm is finished scanning for scrobbles, when you hit submit, it’s always a coin flip as to wether or not Lastfm will crash. If it crashes, there’s a chance your scrobbles will be lost for good. It’s highly frustrating, especially when you have hundreds of scrobbles that get lost. This really needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

im not a fan of the larger boxes for scrobbles. far fewer can fit in one screen view now. the new update also makes it more difficult to see specific data in specific places. overall the new layout significantly limits the amount of information you’re able to easily see — only a few songs/albums/etc are shown on the charts page, and once i go to “see more” im not able to change between the time intervals unless I exit again & tap on the somewhat inconspicuously placed calendar button :’) not a huuge deal, but i think that even just adding an extra option to change time periods AFTER you press “see more” & also making the scrobbles smaller again would really improve Lastfm .

So the new updates layout is okay it’s not the best but it is not my biggest issue. The issue comes that wheneverI try to stream and scan songs it crashes and erases all of my data upon new listening

New layout is okay but Lastfm crashes all the time, I cannot scan my scrobbles. So it is pointless for Apple Music users. Please fix this- I would really like to keep using Lastfm but it is pointless if I am unable to scrobble my music plays

The new design looks good but it’s not convenient. It makes it hard to switch between the charts as everything is in one tab now. It also doesn’t fit as many albums and songs in one chart since the picture is so big. Lastfm is also very buggy. It keeps crashing every time I open it and scan new songs. I hope this gets fix soon. I loved Lastfm before and didn’t have any problems with it.

The old UI was far better than the new redesign. My biggest issue is no longer being able to see the report within the current week. Now it only displays an average scrobble count for the week in the charts section, rather than seeing a scrobble count for each day. Of course, it still shows the individual counts once the week is over, but I enjoyed being able to see the report as the week, month, or year was progressing. It’s a small change, but it’s one that makes little sense and only serves to limit the user.

Every once in a while it stops tracking my listening and I have to log in and out, delete and redownload Lastfm , etc. to get it to work again. Not to mention how annoying the new setup is. I’ve gotten used to it by now but I for sure preferred the old one. I love Lastfm and the overall concept but there is lots of room for improvement

Love Lastfm but it started just freezing where I couldn’t do anything on it, a couple album covers will load but nothing else & I cant do anything on Lastfm at all, cant add new tracks cant check my top albums or artists, I’ve tried closing it & restarting it & I’ve deleted & reinstalled it multiple times & it works at first but then eventually freezes up again.

Usually i love Lastfm, but recently for the past couple of days it has been freezing and instantly logging me out of Lastfm and putting me back on my hop screen when i tap it. so i haven’t been able to track my music for the past few days. it’s a little annoying hopefully the bug gets fixed soon.

I love Lastfm it tracks my apple music stats pretty well. But there is one problem, PLEASE fix the crashing i cant live without Lastfm. Lastfm just freezes at my recent scrobbles when i open it then crashes about 10 seconds later. pls fix

i love the new update, it has a much cleaner look to it & i have been using Lastfm for over a year now & never had problems prior. since the new update all i’ve had is problems it won’t even let me open Lastfm it stays loading for a few seconds and crashes, i’ve already uninstalled Lastfm it worked fine after i did that but once i left and came back a while later back to the same thing. please fix this issue!

Contrary to most other reviews here, I have no major complaints for Lastfm if I’m being honest. I’ve only used it for the past couple weeks now but since then I’ve had no issues using it or being able to scrobble my music. As long as I listen through an entire song, scanning works in a few seconds and everything I’ve listened to shows up. I’m really confused why so many others have trouble with this. I guess it could have to do with where you stream your music but I use Apple Music and it works perfect. As for the layout and interface, it feels pretty barebones compared to the actual site but you still get some data about your listening. You got the reports tab showing how much you scrobbled this week, trends, how you scrobbled, top tags, etc. Then you have charts showing your artists, albums, and tracks. Clicking onto these allows you to read more info on things like how many times you and others scrobbled them, you can find tags, write-ups, and see similar artists. From the settings tab you can also see your profile at the top showing your total scrobbles and clicking here will direct you to the website on your browser. Overall, it really isn’t a bad app in my experience. Obviously it doesn’t work for everyone but if you’re like me and seem to have lucked out then it’s a useful and easy way to keep track of your listening.

Lastfm has it all! Clean design and great user interface. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to track my listening activity and share it with my friends!

Lastfm has been amazing for a while to look at my music listening history not sure why the reviews have Lastfm around 2 stars but I assure you it is definitely worth a try.

I will not scrobble plays made on google play music on a IOS device.

Last time I scanned, it scanned a whopping 600 scrobbles, 580 of which were duplicates. If there was a way to only select the tracks I want to scrobble, then I would be a little less livid. I ended up selecting 580 tracks and deleting them before submitting the 20 song list. Ridiculous, incompetent programming at its worst.

Thanks to Lastfm, twelve years of scrobbles are now incorrect because it submits duplicates of anything listened through the music app (I don’t use Apple Music, all local files). Thanks for completely ruining over a decade of music tracking. Dropped my pro subscription immediately after I noticed.

‘No new scrobbles’ — been getting these message every few days when playing locally stored music through Apple Music, essentially rendering multiple days and hundreds of scrobbles gone forever . Reinstalling doesn’t even work — what gives?

If you have last FM scrobbling from a computer and last FM scrobbling from your phone, you will have duplicates, end of story. As it stands, I can't scrobble from Lastfm because it doubles the scrobbles I have from my computer.

I can’t use this program anywhere it’s absolutely broken in so many ways. First it doesn’t even catch half the songs I listen to which are all downloaded on my phone. Second the scan button stops working altogether and doesn’t pick up ANY of my Apple Music. After doing what I think could’ve fixed it, I can’t even log in and the page on the website where you add applications is down “server error.” Did I also mention the desktop app immediately freezes upon opening it and you can’t use it and are forced to force quit it. Embarrassing status for a program that has been around for a long time. It functions as if it’s still in beta testing and barely works. Lastfm needs some serious work

Finally updated to iOS 11 and had to abandon the old iOS Scrobbler that I’ve used for years. This probably is the end of my scrobbling and last fm usage because it can’t do what I need to anymore.

This one needs real time scrobbling and the ability to not scrobble certain songs that were played, for example unreleased songs that people shouldn’t know about yet.

Also I don’t want my list inflated by old scrobbles or accidental duplicates. I want it to be as accurate to what I listen to as possible.

i’ve been having a lot of problems with Lastfm. in the past it was just minor changes but as of now it’s basically unusable, and it’s because of one key element. THE SCAN BUTTON DOESNT WORK. you guys said you fixed with the new update but all you did was make it worse to the point where it says it’s scrobbling but it never appears and never actually counts them. like cmon, you didn’t even fix it. i tried deleted it and downloading it again, i tried listening to different songs, nothing works. you basically just made you key element unusable now and it’s basically useless to use this now seeing it doesn’t work at all. i’m pretty furious as you can tell because it’s been a real pain to try and use this for the past couple of days when all i want to do is see why my most listened to artists are and HALF OF THE TIME IT WONT LOAD AND JUST SAYS ERROR. i don’t know what you guys did but it apparently didn’t help any, i’m hoping this will be fixed quickly because i’m really getting sick of this seeing that i used Lastfm all the time to check on my music and it can’t even do that right as of right now.

Lastfm used to work perfectly on my iPhone XR, but now i can’t open Lastfm without it crashing upon launch. I also really wish they would update Lastfm to properly fit the “X” line of iPhones. One thing I would also add is to include more functionality such as seeing your friend’s activity and other things you can do on the mobile site. If all these things were to be fixed, i’d consider upgrading to a membership. Until then, it’s a no from me.

works really well for me, but it would be nice if it were optimized for soundcloud too ! other than that no complaints :-)

I loved Lastfm at first it worked really well but everytime I connect it to my computer it says it has 13,000 new scrobbles it’s adding but it just ends up crashing every time & it doesn’t save the current songs I listened to. I been trying to open Lastfm for the past few days but nothing it just keeps turning and turning, I thought it was a connection issue but my WiFi works really well, other than that Lastfm is great and I really wish I could continue using it.

I’ve been using 3rd party apps to scrobble from my phone for the longest time. It’s only right LFM actually came out with their own app. Very organized and easy to use, and scrobbles repeated tracks unlike a lot of other apps. Glad to see they’ve made a good choice with what to do with their website since that awful revamp of the website interface.

YOur iOS app crashes every time I try to scan. Looks like after the last update. Fix it asap.
