Why are there so many reports of problems connecting the app (Fender Tone) to the Mustang GTX?

I am unable to download new presets to my GTX 100 OR my GTX 50. I get the error message "we're sorry something went wrong". My firmware is up to date as is my tone app. My wifi is configured and I am signed in.
