The app is all but impossible to use. The app was promoted all over a cool gift I received call the Beer Advent Calendar which provides one craft German beer each day of December. Neat! The promotion for the app indicated that you could scan a label, learn about that beer, make notes, and basically access info on 115,000 different beers. Sounded really great. So please fix the app and I’ll fix this review. Currently, it’s not possible to register, verify an email address, access beer i formation, etc. instead of info on 115,000 beers, the app returns “No Data Available”. Ok Beer App guys... you’re on to something here. Sooo close! Please polish the app, make it work, and be the beer heroes we know you are.

I was given a beer advent calendar and this app was advertised all over the outside to offer additional information on the beers and to be able to rate your experience with the beers. I was initially pretty excited to give it a try. The registration process is so riddled with issues I haven’t even been able to experience the other issues mentioned in reviews. I wish I could give 0 stars to this app, it’s been a huge disappointment and a waste of 10 minutes. I won’t waste anymore time trying to get this clearly broken app to work. If the developers don’t care, why should anyone else?

Quite simply, the app does not function. I was so looking forward to beer tasting my beer advent calendar with tasting notes and info about the beer and brewery, as promised. I’ve tried every possible way of getting “in” allowed. Setting up an account. Changing password. Using Google or FB logins. All errors. Can’t even access “collections” to see beer info, even though that option appears to be available without signing in. Another error message, cannot load, etc.. How disappointing, but I’ll be the first in line to try again when this gets fixed and the app is operational!
