Great for multi league management, poor on other things

Great for managing multi leagues, especially the tool to automatically substitute inactive players in your lineup. However, poor on projections and the FantasyPros website has THE worst/most time consuming Captcha verifications on the entire internet (even worse than Bank & government sites). Regarding the Captcha, it feels like Fantasy Pros is purposely discouraging you from using the website with the ridiculous number of Captcha screens you have to go through to login to your Fantasy account. I realize cyber security is very important but some common sense would be appreciated in that regard! And then regarding the projections—-I have a 50-70% chance to win every week and im only 6-5. Yea that doesnt sound bad but when you just have 2 straight weeks of 70-80% chance to Win against the 2 worst teams in the league and you lose both, something is amiss. I have contacted Fantasy Pros and they said maybe the wrong league scoring settings are imported. Nope! Checked it and everything is ok there. So yea, just take a comprehensive approach on many different sites when deciding to make your lineup instead of completely relying on Fantasy Pros. Realize not everyone has the time to do that & its easy for Fantasy Pros to just set your lineup for you BUT you know what they say about things that come easy!

Perfect app for fantasy ADVICE

FantasyFootballMyPlaybook is great! If you’re like me and are constantly looking for ways to improve your team, tweaking your lineup and getting 2nd(or 3rd/4th/5th lol) opinions on trade values/waiver adds FantasyFootballMyPlaybook is a great tool for you! FantasyFootballMyPlaybook allows you to import your entire league(s) and it will rank all the teams based on a week-to-week basis as well as the entire season. I find that to be what sets it apart from other apps/sites I’ve used because it takes into account how any transaction affects your overall ranking as well as the other teams involved. My only recommendation would be not to “live and die” by their suggestions for your weekly lineup because they are are purely based of statistical analysis although they are oftentimes accurate. Sometimes that “gut feeling” you get about a guy you’re thinking about streaming in your flex spot because you saw something in the week(s) prior, will work out better than projected. Trust me, you will feel a whole lot better if you go with your gut, and fail, rather than going with their suggestions and seeing that guy have that day you knew he would! Best of luck, and don’t tell your league mates about FantasyFootballMyPlaybook lol

And right back to a 5-star rating

Admittedly, I was pretty unhappy with FantasyFootballMyPlaybook being changed in the middle of football season (as opposed to during the off-season). And my feelings about losing the ability to rank players by filtering experts? Well, those feelings ranged somewhere between “quiet—yet dignified—disappointment” and “apoplectic rage”.

But here’s the thing: these developers actually listen to their customers. The expert ranking issue? Fixed by the very next DAY (on a Sunday, no less). To me, that kind of responsiveness is not only impressive—it is also more than enough to cancel out any misgivings I originally had about FantasyFootballMyPlaybook , and “My Playbook” is once again very much deserving of its 5-star ranking.

I’d also say that these folks have earned a bit of trust with the way they’ve handled this, so if an update glitch or temporary omission occurs in the future, I will be a lot more patient. Sorry for underestimating your customer service team, FF Pros—thanks for all you do.

Awesome for tough situations

Although I am new to FantasyFootballMyPlaybook, I can already tell you that these people know their fantasy football. By conjuring up your perfect lineup, it’s a sure solution to give tour fantasy teams the most value. Even when it comes to just deciding on who to start, FantasyPros gives the best possible suggestions.

I love the personalized section it has on the home screen that allows users to see where they stand in their given division. While mine may have been a rude awakening, it gives me a chance to go after players in the week sections of my team. The podcast also guides me in the right direction when choosing waiver picks and determining who I need to add/drop. Overall, FantasyFootballMyPlaybook maximizes my potential in any given fantasy football format. Thank you FantasyPros for all that you do!

AWESOME app!

This is the first app I’ve ever reviewed, but it deserves it. I manage 3 teams across different platforms and am too busy with life outside of FF to analyze and optimize constantly. After 10 weeks and a sluggish start, I am ranked #1 (12 team PPR), #3 (10 team standard/keeper - highly competitive), and #4 (12 team PPR w/ 3 WRs). My buddy added his team because he doesn’t play much (and my subscription allows for up to 10 teams), and he jumped from 12th to 6th already (14 team PPR).
What I love most about FantasyFootballMyPlaybook is the season long outlook/projections, as well as the advice to keep me from making the wrong decisions.
Very comprehensive and intuitive. I was skeptical of all the reviews, but it’s clear now why this is such a highly rated app.
Thanks FantasyPros! You know your stuff!!!

Waiver Wire Tool Suggestion

Expand the functionality of the Waiver Wire Analyzer tool to include the following:

1) Implement the waiver wire action on your league time
(Similar to the “Auto Pilot” or lineup suggestion functionality)

2) Allow managers to set a time they want the waiver wire addition to occur.

Benefit of this is pretty clear...
If you’re careful about your priority order for claiming players off of waivers (for those of us trying to reserve the 1st priority for a boosted RB handcuff or as a bit of insurance if one of your players goes down in the playoffs) and are kind of interested in taking a name... but only from free agency if they make it past waiver claims... the ability to queue a tool that will automatically submit a bid for that player 2 minutes after they become available at the a$$crack of dawn on Wednesday would be a huge benefit.

If they’re available, great!

And if not, no worries!

You took the highest probability route of claiming the player while still keeping your waiver wire priority position instead of potentially wasting it on a claim you were lukewarm about.

Good app for fantasy. Ambitious upgrade to app.

App feels smooth and is a good way to stay up on news/info and manage your fantasy league(s).

Thoughts on the overhaul update:

I’m confused as to why I need to see a power ranking blob when I open FantasyFootballMyPlaybook . Can this be hidden or little-ified? If it remains bigified, could it be moved beneath the analysis area (or customized to be lower or gone)?

I’m not seeing value in seeing a large picture of a particular player for news. I would be prefer maybe a small picture beside the headline.

I miss (or can’t find) a way to filter my team against others when looking for a trade in the players rankings.

When selecting experts, I don’t know if there’s a way to unselect all experts. I’ve been going to top 10 and manually unselecting.

Would dig a way to select “trade for” from the player’s stat page and have that drop me in the trade analyzer with my roster and the other team’s selected.

Is there a way to customize experts being used for the waiver assistant?

Game Day is a great feature for tracking the games but is currently tucked away in a semi-intuitive Tools tab on the More menu. Does this (or can this) show up at the top of FantasyFootballMyPlaybook when you open it during live scoring?

Concise Advice

After listening to my first podcast today, I will definitely be listening to every future episode. The delivery and style of presenting current FF news could not be more practical - everyone has life outside of their preferred FF format/untimely and unprecedented responsibilities. This is basically the CliffsNotes version of your weekly updates to keep you in the know, and should guide you in the direction to form a team that has a shot at competing. The detailed fantasy rundowns have their place, but for the average player this checks every box! Short and concise advice giving you the “fix” to prepare and compete for that league championship!

Great app, when it works

FantasyFootballMyPlaybook has some awesome features that makes it very easy to manage my teams in 3 fantasy leagues with my busy lifestyle. I can quickly make lineup adjustments straight from FantasyFootballMyPlaybook , gives quick advice on who to add and drop, who to trade and how I fare against the rest of my league and the notifications on players seems way ahead of even the major news outlets. Problem is FantasyFootballMyPlaybook is so dang unreliable, 9 out of 10 times when I go to use it it just sits on a “loading settings” screen and never loads, usually happens at the worst time like when your waiting for those last minute game time decisions, then I have to go to the website which is way more cumbersome to use, especially on a phone. If FantasyFootballMyPlaybook loaded properly each time I went to it would be an easy 5 star app.

Best App for Fantasy Football Ever

I do not follow football. I came in last place the previous two years in my fantasy football league. This year I tried FantasyFootballMyPlaybook (used their premium services)and followed their recommendations to the letter for the entire season for both who to start and who to pick up in free agency. Not only did I easily make it into the playoffs, but I just found out that my team won the championship. Five stars is not enough. Thank you developers for making such a great app. I look forward to using again next season and many seasons to come. Keep up the excellent work.

Not worth it

This is my fourth time joining and all four times I did not make the playoffs. There is nothing in FantasyFootballMyPlaybook that you get that you can’t get for free on any other fantasy football site. And honestly better advice. I followed their advice on who to start and did worst if I just started who I liked. I gave them four years of my money. So I can have a advantage over other teams and it got me last place this year. And if you’re thinking to yourself maybe it’s the players who I drafted. Nope because I also purchased the draft wizard and these are the players they suggested I draft. Save your money and go over to CBS Sports or ESPN or RTsports for free advice.

Stooped working

The ipad app stopped working. I log in, has my user name and my subscription level, but fails to link to my leagues. When i hit the sync button, a dialogue box comes up to select my server, but it’s blank. Nothing to select. I can get player reports, but cannot connect to my leagues. Still works on iPhone.

Update: After several emails, and troubleshooting, I found out my internet provider was having issues. Some websites and web pages were not accessible or not loading properly. Provider has corrected the problem and app and website work great now!

Paid for the subscription

The first two weeks of using it have been awful. The picks it suggests are almost illogical. Tells me to bench some of my best players for two WRs on the same team who have a struggling QB. These WRs barely get points and have not even a boom value. This week even though Ekeler is starting and Kalen Ballage is injured. It’s telling me to start Ballage anyway. Ballage is a 3rd string RB who won’t see any snaps if he even gets the OK to play. It also told me to play McKissic this week, who while he’s had some solid weeks, no boom potential. Thankfully, I knew his performance couldn’t last and benched him.

Don’t waste your money. Just do the research on the web like I’ve always done. Really wish for the money I’d get some extra info. Instead they just gather data from tons of sources and think compiling it makes for good data.

Too unintuitive to pay for

The free version of FantasyFootballMyPlaybook gives you just as much information as the paid version except with the paid version, you can upload your team and making changes from their app. My problem is, FantasyFootballMyPlaybook is basically a rankings slave. All it does is compile THEIR “expert” rankings and all the advice given from there is based on where a player is ranked. Doesn’t account for matchups or your unique situation. Not a terrible app, but definitely not worth paying for. I have won multiple fantasy championships across multiple leagues, and since I’ve used FantasyFootballMyPlaybook, (3 years straight now) I haven’t even made the playoffs. Definitely never using them again. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone serious about ffb.

5/5 highly recommend

This is the perfect app for competent fantasy players who want to take their game to the next level. If you’re expecting to just push a button and get 100% accurate projections or advice then you will be disappointed. You still have to put it the work and customize your profile to fit your style. FantasyFootballMyPlaybook gives you the tools you need to do that. The guys at fantasypros have done 90% of the work for you, if you put in the remaining 10% I 100% guarantee that you will see measurable improvement in your results!

Best paid service I’ve found

I’m a subscriber for the last two years. 2018 was pretty much broken for me. I’d paid for two teams but a lot of stuff didn’t work... I complained though and they quickly agreed and gave me some credit toward this year and a lot of promises. They delivered on those promises and I was happy to have the full paid features for 2019. The sync with my leagues (one CBS and one ESPN) has been flawless and I love the data aggregation that vastly exceeds free options on both sites. Seamless integration and great data tools = 5 stars for me.

2 App and Website Flaws (1 major, 1 irritating)

To be fair, I enjoy using FantasyFootballMyPlaybook/website to help manage multiple fantasy leagues I’m in. However, if you’re able to import your team(s), it’d be nice to import the league scoring settings as well so that your suggested rankings, cheat sheets, etc are tailored appropriately. Without importing custom scoring rules, your outputs are inaccurate. Then on the rankings tab on FantasyFootballMyPlaybook , there’s an option to filter between standard vs PPR, available players, taken players, etc but those settings don’t stick. You have to filter each and every time which is a pain in the Butkus when you have to toggle between 6-7 fantasy leagues each week.

Best Fantasy App There Is

I started using the fantasy pro app last season and the effort they have put in to upgrade FantasyFootballMyPlaybook in that time is incredible. I used the draft wizard and playbook app in all of my leagues and I’m first in one league and looking to make the playoffs in all of the others. FantasyFootballMyPlaybook offers quality info and rankings from a broad spectrum of experts instead of a select few. I love it!

The only improvement I would like to see is being able to compare your team vs your scheduled opponent that week for each league.

Helpful for fantasy football season

I love FantasyFootballMyPlaybook and it has always helped me maintain the top bench players throughout the fantasy football season. The drafting has not always been the best as it will put average players above players with huge upside. When drafting higher upside players are what win leagues so increasing the value of those players would be the only change j would recommend. Otherwise FantasyFootballMyPlaybook has helped me significantly stay at the top of my league.

Did your UX designer leave?

I love fantasy pros. I spend up to an hour a day most days reading and looking at the data. Primarily because the UX is so beautifully tailored to what I need to do as a fantasy owner.

However, the update today looks like someone without fantasy knowledge joined your design team. The use of large photos on the news feed is just a waste of space. They “ranking” diagram is not he first thing I need to see everyday. Given how infrequently that will change over other information it forces me as a user to scroll for the dynamic data you are so producer a sharing.

The grouping of data is fine. I’ll get used to that. I hope you at least fixed the bug where when you switch teams the setting for owner, available, taken is reset.

Overall I am disappointed from a company who I have used an example for great design.

Each feature gained is a feature lost.

Every time there an update something seems to be lost. As an example, the layout was changed to have things where they make more sense, which did happen. However, now when you rank you own players vs. those on the waiver wire there’s no distinguishing color separating the two preventing you from quickly glancing to see where your guys rank compared to those available to name name one. Feels like every “update” is a completed rewrite.

By

New Update

The new update is nice, definitely like the new design, very sleek. The issues I have with it in particular are you can no longer sort by stats when looking at research. For example, if I wanted to sort by fantasy points allowed to RB’s that doesn’t seem possible anymore, now you have to find the team, and look through their individual rankings. This isn’t huge, but it was a nice touch when sorting through 100’s of players stats and performance. I’d love to see that put back in within the next update. Otherwise great work.

FantasyPros Podcast & App is Sensational!

The FantasyPros Podcast and app is amazing. I have listened to other major podcasts before, but FantasyPros is head-and-shoulders above the rest. Mike and Bobby provide a witty and entertaining delivery of fantasy football news and analysis. As a long-time fantasy football participant, I’ve had success before. It wasn’t until I became a dedicated listener (walking the dog, in the car, doing the dishes) that both my knowledge and winning titles increased. I’d certainly recommend FantasyPros to any fantasy football fan.

Great Advisor!

Sit and start assistant is a great help when you’re confused about what players to start this week. Based on NFL matchups this assistant will show you what players have the highest potential for success. Now, you still will have to use some common sense before taking a superstar player out of your lineup. However, the assistant takes a lot of the guesswork out and gives you a greater rate of success of fielding your highest scoring lineup of the week.
