The more updates I've done, the worse it works. Slow to connect, impossible to disconnect. Worked fine prior to last couple of updates. IPhone 12
i used EquisenseInside for a while but when i got a new phone it logged me out and wouldn’t let back back in and kept saying “ sorry an error occurred :( “ i’ve tried changing my password and making a new account and it still won’t work
I looked a while for the perfect app and this one worked great... for a while.
It wasn’t long before I realized that EquisenseInside glitched every time I tried to type notes for my different sessions. I would type out one word and then it would just disappear. It does this over and over so I have much difficulty in taking notes in EquisenseInside . This is mainly what I use EquisenseInside for so if it doesn’t work then I’ll just look for a different one. EquisenseInside is very convenient to use otherwise and it’s very simple and easy to manage. I just wish they would fix the typing problem.
Also, I tried to use the “Report Bug” button but that wouldn’t work either so I’m writing this review instead.
I have version 22 and i cannot delete a horse off of the “my horses” page. Went to website and followed the suggested process to delete a horse and it did not work.
The Equisense app is a great way to keep track of some basic aspects of your session such as time spent in gates, strides per minute and symmetry. However, it is currently lacking in measures advertised when the device was marketed such as stride length, jump course layout etc.
A disadvantage of the design is that you can not pause a session once started. Thus there is poor information integrated into the whole analysis from time spent halting or walking while I wait my turn during a training system.
I also find it difficult to get it to begin a session. Many times I am on my horse and I have to hit "new session" over and over until I get lucky and it responds.
Overall, I enjoy the information, but it needs some tweaks
Addendum: Each update improves EquisenseInside, but still, what it needs the most is a pause button. Every rider knows that you are not at a working walk from the second you enter the ring. EquisenseInside is sometimes difficult to sync with the devise. Thus, I have to be sure it's synced as soon as I tack up and start the session. If I wait until I'm in the arena, it often will not sync and therefore not function. As such, it incorporates the horse walking to the arena as well as time not at a working walk ( walking to chat with the trainer etc ) into the information regarding the walk. This renders the walk info useless. A pause button would eliminate this.
I have also found that it'll record jumps that never happened and over estimate the number of transitions. I plan to do a session where I have someone keep track of transitions and jumps to compare against EquisenseInside for accuracy
Addendum Sunday, January 28:
Since I have updated this out it no longer keeps my information separate by the day in the session that it is obtained. Instead it will show one session lasting over 27 hours. This is most frustrating because all the information is rendered useless!!!
Additionally, there is no app support. If one taps "app support" at EquisenseInside Store for EquisenseInside. It takes you to a blank page

EquisenseInside just doesn't work consistently!! It does not download the session to your phone! Soooooo many problems with it!
EquisenseInside is wonderful and I have plans to buy the sensor soon, however I've noticed on my iPhone XR that the icons at the bottom of the home screen appear mushed together and are hard to tap. Also when I try to delete an activity for my horse, it gives me the "Are you sure you want to delete this activity?" prompt, but never actually deletes it. (I have good service, so it doesnt seem to be a network issue) Sometimes it gets hung up when I try to refresh afterwards.
Just wanted to share in case the devs weren't aware of these issues. Otherwise, it's lovely and great work!
It’s so neat to be able to actually track my horse’s changes in a format that is easy to understand.
The developers are super and follow up with bugs that are found.
Only glitch is the translation from French to English doesn’t always go smoothly, but the content can still be understood by the reader.
Bravo! Can’t wait to see the Care when it comes out!
Last update seems to have crashed EquisenseInside . When I try to look at my elevation or symmetry more critically and zoomed in, EquisenseInside freezes and I have to restart it. Please fix this.
