The grapevine app needs some work. I would not pay 31 dollars a year for AAGrapevineMagazine. A full version 2.0 rebuild needs to be done. More older issue need to be added to the available issue. User ought to be able to create an account without having to enter payment information. Take advantage of the current technologies. If it is a utilization issue. Then upgrade your severs. AAGrapevineMagazine is terrible.

No app exists in a universe all its own. Before designing again, look at some of the truly outstanding magazine apps like Vanity Fair and Flipboard. You compete with these. These are easy to use and a pleasure to look at. Take note of form and function. The images on the cover gallery are uselessly small, unreadable. There entire pages of text that cannot be viewed on a phone without pinching and scrolling. These functional issues make it difficult and frustrating to access content. To start the redesign, employ “responsive design” which causes pages to automatically reformat to fit the specific screen - without pinching, sliding or scrolling. No text template remnants like “Cover 1.”
No endlessly scrolling blank pages with a padlock icon. Where free content ends, offer a simple invitation with an actionable hyperlink: “More? Subscribe here.” Sadly out of date in form and function. The entire app should be scrapped and reworked.

Is it supposed to give an error every time I correctly enter my credentials (which work on the browser)? It will say it is loading issues, then it will say there is an authentication error. Same credentials used in browser with effective login. Please help.

I can access my GV subscription on the website but can’t log onto AAGrapevineMagazine . My email for tech assistance went unanswered. Seems to be every subscriber’s problem. Get it fixed! Been this way for months.

Since the recent "bug fix", I can not read any of the past issues, the pages seem to be in hiding. I loved AAGrapevineMagazine , but hate the "fix"!!!! Need help!

Purchased a year's subscription in April. In August, they updated AAGrapevineMagazine and have locked me out of my purchase. When I contacted them to straighten it out, felt suspiciously like a phishing exercise.

It takes forever to load, but will load. You have to select the issue you want to read and have to manually navigate to the page you were last reading. Every. Single. Time. It should remember where you were last reading just like the other e-readers do. If you charge money for an app, it should at least have some respectable functionality.

Audio consistently does NOT play. For safety issues in the car one link should play the entire issue or at least a section.

So I really like AAGrapevineMagazine and my favorite thing about it is the audio for it because a lot of times I have difficulty reading so to my brain injury from the Marine Corps. What I would suggest to make it better is that have the audio play in the background and make it so that it will not stop playing when the device turns sideways. Those things will help us that thrive.

It was great until this update. Then it would not recognize or remember my subscription. I called them and had to send in a screen shot (or email) showing my subscription and also tell them my mailing address. Then they emailed me a password and AAGrapevineMagazine works great. Still, it was a pain.

Great reading experience on my iPad or iPhone. Nice highlighted links to jump around. I can download issues for reading on airplanes or where there is no WiFi. Just be sure to remember (write down) your user name and password so you will have smooth log ins. Enjoy the GV app. Great reads.
