Amazing podcast but why is FrançaisAuthentique crashing on ios 14.

Feature requests: It would be a great help if we could read the text while listening to the videos. When videos are playing, you cannot scroll. Requete pour le prochaine MaJ: donne nous un moyen d'ecouter à une video et en même temps regarder et lire la transcription STP.

What’s missing from FrançaisAuthentique is a way to jump back 15 or 30 seconds to repeat a little bit of the podcast. (Monsieur Johan, s'il te plaît, ajoute ceci pour nous, tes auditeurs, pour le prochain MàJ !)

Johan speaks to you in clear french and only in french using a fairly simple vocabulary. His podcasts are varied, but they are exclusively in french and are transcribed in french for you. He explains french words an idioms in french - the best possibly way to improve your french comprehension. You are not going to learn french by listening to someone speaking to you in english.

Also, it would be really help if Johan would organize his podcasts into logical groups… Simple lessons, advanced lessons, and especially if he would separate out and organize his podcasts which describe french expressions and idioms, from his more random (and still entertaining) musings and discussions. FA is a great tool to increase your aural comprehension. I cannot recommend his method highly enough, which is to listen to and comprehend A LOT of french.

This is a French teacher on mission to inspire, educate and oversatisfy anyone wanting to speak French. Oversatisfy in the sense that he is a force for self-reflection, self-education, self-development and self-motivation. Johan Is exuberant without being exhausting, scholarly without being pedantic, balanced, steady, and never ever boring. it took me a while to decide to spend the money for his course, but I'm delighted! Definitely the best thing I've done for myself since the pandemic started.👍🥳

I've been listening to Johan's podcast for a while now, and it's a great resource for learning new vocabulary and developing listening comprehension. FrançaisAuthentique is well-designed, easy to use, and provides a convenient way to listen to the podcast with the transcript. I highly recommend it to anyone studying French!

Français Authentique is a effective way to improve your ability to speak French and Johan is a great teacher. If you're already at an intermediate or advanced level, this method will help strengthen oral comprehension as well as help you become more comfortable communicating in French. FrançaisAuthentique is a convenient way to access all of Johan's podcasts in addition to the paid content of the Academy and the Lesson Packs.

In high school and college I took French classes but I never travelled or used my knowledge at all. Now, my own daughter is in high school and I thought it was time to relearn French so she could have someone to speak with. I have really enjoyed having this huge knowledge base of French to listen to and read on a number of different subjects. Hearing the language is invaluable, but even more important are the PDFs with the translation. FrançaisAuthentique provides everything in one place and I can access it while walking the dog every morning and relearning this lovely language.

Simply the best! And it's free! I and over 200,000 Facebook friends agree. Simply the best!

Les podcasts que Johan nous fournit (gratuitement !) font parties intégrantes de son système et je suis ravie que maintenant nous pouvons les télécharger par le biais d'une appli. Having already used the courses created by Johan (Packs 1 and 2; Pack 3 to come), and been a part of the Français Authentique community as a member of the Académie Français Authentique, I can say without any doubt that this system works! The podcasts that Johan provides (for free!) are an integral part of his system and I am delighted that we can now download them through an app. It's very convenient! Thank you Johan!

i find myself drawn to incorporating a daily dose of Johan’s teachings into my routine. It’s not difficult to have a positive outlook and strive to improve your français with Johan at the helm. Now to only incorporate some of his other practices regarding personal development into the daily train-train...maybe the mundaneness of life would be a little more bearable.

I strongly recommend FrançaisAuthentique to anyone who wants to make a habit of listening to a native French speaker.

This is in my opinion a must for anyone wishing to learn French, great and relevant topics. He is articulate and delivers the podcasts in an understandable fashion.

Not good for beginners, but ideal for intermediate and above levels.

I listen to it almost every day. Johan speaks very clearly and comprehensibly, and many of his podcasts and videos are accompanied by French transcriptions. (Also it’s fun watching his children participate in the videos!) Highly recommended for French learners at an advanced beginner or intermediate level.
