I am coming from a time where sampler memory was counted in Kilobytes and both sample and bit rates were low. On the Mac, I was in love with the sound of TAL Sampler but I wanted something on iOS and TabletOS without needing a full blown DAW and with the immediacy of that Australian animal sampler app. This is it. Very quick and intuitive workflow, even more features hiding behind buttons and menus but for me, it's about sound when it comes to sampling. And the downsampling as well as global sample rate settings do not disappoint. Boy, can this thing sound grainy and hissing while retaining the punch. This goes WAY beyond a bitcrusher, this thing sounds like a vintage 12 or 8 bits machine (your choice if more like an Ensoniq Mirage or ASR) but is optimized to be operated like a software from today. No messing with disk drives, no recapping old hardware, no spending of serious €€€ and also no computer needed - it runs on the phone as great as on the iPad. Looking at the price, I can't believe my eyes, this is a steal for that feature set! Muchas gracias!

Great peace of software. I really love the way it let‘s me quickly browse through my samples and add them to my drumkit. The only thing I miss is an ADSR envelope to reshape the attack and decay of my samples
