Downloaded this App to book a flight.
Just that the link to book a flight takes you nowhere.
So I thought, "maybe I need to register first." Which I then did. Or rather, tried. Because the app does not allow to enter a country code for the phone number and also not the country itself. But at the same time will not enroll you without this information.
What is this, a bad joke?
If this is the quality I can expect wit AA, I guess I need to book a flight with another airline.

Disappointing experience with my last business class trip:
- Check-In did not work, suddenly jumped to main screen without confirmation.
- Boarding Passes couldn‘t be loaded, Server does not respond.
- Terminal and Gate did not show any information.
- Every little nothing is redirected to the website.
Thanks, really don‘t need an App for that :-(

Für Sitzplätze etc wird man auf die Internetseite weitergeleitet. Das nervt. Also wozu AmericanAirlines? Flüge buchen in AmericanAirlines geht auch nicht...

Schlechte App. Keine standby Liste wie bei der USAirways App, diese hätte man übernehmen sollen, um Längen besser!!! Sehr schade:-(((

Im großem und ganzen ganz übersichtlich. Auch wenn das Zusammenspiel mit passbook nicht immer funktioniert.
Auch schade ist, dass AmericanAirlines weder fürs iPhone 5, noch mit dem iPad läuft - schade. Vielleicht beim nächsten Update ;-)

Ich habe AmericanAirlines in diesem Jahr bei zwei Inlandsflügen in den USA genutzt. Check Inn und Bordkarte in Passbook hat sehr gut funktioniert und war auch sehr einfach in der Anwendung. Optisch macht AmericanAirlines allerdings keinen guten Eindruck.
