Downgrade and lots of bugs

Was forced to move on from “old” working application. Debit Card is now blocked for “security reasons”. Calling hotline and messages within the app without useful result so far. Pretty much cuffed hands now. No access to withdraw cash or do transactions from bank account. Worst banking app and very disappointing, poor customer service!

Misleading and missing functions

It’s a joke. I was looking for a way to contact someone from NBD about missing functions. You go through the help Menus, the faq etc and what you find is that there is either nothing written about how to get in touch with nbd or the information is just wrong. Unbelievable. It says for example that on the top right corner of the app is a chat button. No there isn’t. How can you put this in a help article. What am I suppose to do now. Can’t even complain to nbd that the article is wrong because there is no article saying how to contact. So the only way is here in the app comment section.
2.: they have a new WhatsApp chat. Which you have to verify through the ENBD app. Verification works but the chat doesn’t. Again: unbelievable. I asked them a few questions and the (automatic) answer was: we are receiving a lot of request. „We’re closing the chat now.“ Are you for real ?

Turned a good app into an unusable one

Today I was forced in the new app which is really the worst I have seen so far. Sitting since 30 min trying to find out how to apply for a prepaid credit card. Whole interface is way below international standards. Not a good priority banking experience and not on par with the high quality service I am used to from emiratesNBD

App is useless

I am very frustrated as I can not use the online banking up. It is not possible to manage the background adminstration without repetitive personal visits to a banking branch. The service there is also not straight forward as they are working with the app which again needs customer service interference => inefficient and useless.

Worst banking App ever

The worst banking App I have ever used. Nothing is updating, I cannot see any payments I have done. It still says last transaction is November 2022. No changes I do are accepted without explanation.

No message coming in to access online banking on my desktop etc.

Please make this work as this is not professional or helping customers in handling their finances

Kindergarden kids do better app than that

!!! Everyone who did not move yet : stay away as long as you can !!! I got forced to move to this crap since months, now I know why! Horrible design, horrible handling compared with the other app. This app is not made for convenient handling of my accounts, its a playground for annoyed programmer who have clue how to design a professional banking app!

Terrible app, full of bugs

The app hasn’t worked since it came out (years ago?). The messaging system to contact anyone does not deliver messages („message not sent“), and in the rare case that it does, no one replies for days, or not at all.
For the longest time, it didn’t show your total wealth balance across accounts.
I don’t know what else doesn’t work, as I try to use it as little as possible.

The new app is preventing you from using your bank account

I also was forced into the new app. The first impression was good - well structured and not overloaded. Then I wanted to transfer money to a known beneficiary, which worked before. The app tells me to fix the data of the beneficiary: I just confirm the data, enter smart pin as requested and get the error „smart pass not initiated“. Finish. Can’t do anything, can’t transfer money… What the hell??

Buggy, slow, complicated, keeps crashing

Overall very disappointing. If you have experienced some neo bank apps you will agree with me. This is not up to a standard - especially having in mind that we’re talking about a large and established bank. It keeps crashing, sometimes the transaction values are not shown and it is unnecessarily complicated to use. Besides, the offered services and features are basic at best.

A disappointing app

In my case, half of the service are not working, there is no way to get a credit card from the app, there is no way to get a decent customer support (you send a message and there is no way to understand what’s the status of your inquiry). I never got my debit card and from the app you cannot fix this issue (not even going to the branch is fixing the issue but this is another story). Basically you open an account, you put money, but you cannot access them.

Basically OK

This app does what it should do, but not more.
User Interface is mainly text and somewhat chaotic - compared to apps such as WIO bank, this is two generations behind.
What is really annoying is that you can only have it activated on one device at a time and even if you re-activate a formerly approved device, you still need to run through a multiple-stage confirmation process because ‘device unknown’.

Biometric Login Stability Improvement Needed

Now most of the features are at par with previous app, thank you. This app were frequently and still occasionally crashing for apple’s fingerprint logins, wherever may be needed for login or approval. e.g., when you login from desktop you need to enter the password on app, enabled biometric login doesn’t work.

So many bugs

Banking app with most number of bugs I have ever used. It keeps telling me to update address but when I click the update button, nothing happens. I tried uploading my Emirates Id which btw is so difficult because the scan module doesn’t accept the picture unless the card is perfectly in frame. And even if you somehow succeed getting the card scanned, the internal mechanism fails the ID update process without giving any valid reason. The worse part, the website does not even have the ID update module. Seems like bank and developers were in a hurry to release the newer X version website and app without properly testing it. And if the online banking account is on X version, one cannot use the other/older version which works for the older customers.

Screen Color

It is very difficult sometimes to see the screen I have seen much better screens like DKB Bank or N26 . I hope you will start thinking about that .

Poor performanca

App does not work properly when I want to do local transfers.
When I wanted to report that I discovered that the reporting option does not work either.

Most intuitive banking app I know!

Very intuitive app, always smooth to handle all my banking activities!

Excellent bank

I have been using the service from Emirates NBD for many years. It's very efficient for example concerning international transfer. I also enjoy the benefits of using credit card. Highly recommend!

A refreshing update

I love the easiness of navigation in this app. Banking apps are often boring and sterile, this here is quick and snappy feeling. I only wish the support section would actually do a push notification to my phone when support staff answers to my ticket. But I like the overall direction this app and bank is going. Keep going.

Update in beneficiary

Completely buggy / blocks me sending money asking for address updates but no chance to get into edit mode - asks for the name to be changed but doesn’t allow editing it Completely crazy that I cannot use internet banking neither anymore. Reason to change the bank
