In order to have the app run on all devices, we had to compromise quite a bit, pushing the old devices to their limits (risking crash if other applications are left running) while keeping the new devices well behind their capabilities.
While developing Castlerama, we had to face the fact that newer devices such as iPhone4s and iPad2s are very different from their predecessors, iPhone3GSs and iPads, in that the former have twice as much memory.

l’application takes you on a photorealistic walk through a beautiful, detailed and accurately lit 3D setting. Merging real and imaginary elements, it draws inspiration from the charming town of Assisi, in Italy. You are left to find your own way around by touch and sight alone. Exploring a whole world becomes a matter of lifting your fingers. Our goal? To fool your eyes and brain considering it all real. When you go back with your memory to the day you first opened this Mentalbox, you will think it was you on the cobblestone, you in the alleys, you in the catacombs... Du boulot impeccable, impressionnant, la bande sonore nous plonge directement dans l'ambiance avec des musiques vraiment magnifique, à télécharger rien que pour les mélodies si ce n'est pour les graphismes époustouflants ou du moins par respect pour l'optimisation et le travail accompli gratuitement. Édit : Certains commentaires m'exaspèrent, cette démo ne se compare pas a Epic Citadel, qui elle est développée par des professionnels avec de l'expérience dans le métier, là c'est un petit studio, respectez au moins le travail au mieux de critiquer un mapping très bien pensé, si vous n'avez pas apprécier tant pis, mettez une sale note mais ne démolissez pas l'application dans vos avis...

Moi il marche parfaitement sur iPad 2 Sinon j'ai parcouru le monde en 50 sec soit je suis bête et je trouve pas d'autres chemins soit les devs ont perdu leur temps a faire une appui qui est moins belle qu'Epic Citadel, avec un territoire moins grand et qui est plus grosse.

Très bonne demo a ne pas oublier que le jeu est encore en phase de programmation et pour ceux qui ont des soucis avec l'application notez aussi votre configuration matérielle avec le commentaire iPhone 4 16go RAS
