Quite bad

No access to isa & stocks via the app

wasting customers time

I simply fear having to long on into my hsbc account, no matter how many Times I reset and updated save my new codes it always asks for a new one that I had never created like a number one?
No helpful links, imposible to reset the password, very bad explanations, overall terrible app. Please sort it out

Bug on iphone 6S, IOS 12.1.2

The app doesn’t work since last IOS update: can’t launch the app, it automatically jumps back to lock screen.
Tryed to uninstall/reinstall the app several times, but nothing helped...
Any clue? Thank you.

New update 2.39.1 crashes

New version keeps crashing. Cannot open it on iPhone even after uninstalling it and downloading it again.

Blocker, up to date app asks me to update

I cannot use my app at all. When opening it the screen freezes and asks me to update the app. When clicking the button that get me to the app store, I read on the latter that my app is up to date.

Worst banking app ever

So complicated to get access! I locked my account and impossible to get access again. The hotline is so useless! Security is a good thing but if you can’t access to your balance, it is just ridiculous! I had to take an appointment at my branch to get access again. Just crazy!

When will HSBC China be available?

After having waited for more than 2 years, I’m terribly frustrated by the fact that HSBC China is still not available on the French App Store :

-The app exists on the App stores of other countries

-All Chinese banks are available on the French App Store while they don’t specifically target an expat audience like your bank.

Decent bank, Frustrating security

The bank in itself is decent but when every time you want to do something on your account you have to jump through infinite amount of hoops to get anything done it just gets frustrating and feels like a waste of time. I understand the importance of security but it is just excessive.

Digital Banking

System didn’t recognize my tel banking number. After numerous attempts I had to reset. This took over an hour. When I finally was able to raise my question, no solution was found. I wanted to raise a CHAPS payment from my uk account without leaving my country of residence where I also bank with HSBC. Not possible. 2 hours on the phone for no solution or flexibility. Not great for the ‘Global Bank’

Chat?

The chat isn’t very good, I am often waiting 10 minutes between messages. I am reluctant to use it for this reason.

What happened with landscape mode?

The app was working very well, serving my needs despite quite a few limitations vs web portal. The last update killed the landscape mode for iPad which makes it unusable when using with a keyboard. Please restore landscape mode.

Faster but has lost some features

When are you bringing back Global Transfers we had in previous version ?

Required some improvements

Some operations are not available on the app , for example no global transfer available..

Annoying system

Please stop changing your app every month. It is becomes incredibly annoying and is overly complicated which makes me have to call and reset my password all the time. The way you force your clients to have the app is ridiculous. Online banking should suffice.

Works very well but can take an age to load , up to 20 attempts.
