Ich wollte RingGo diese App ausprobieren und muss leider sagen, dass sie für Nutzer, die keine britische Telefonnummer haben, völlig unbrauchbar ist. Die Registrierung gestaltete sich für mich als äußerst frustrierend, da meine deutsche Telefonnummer nicht akzeptiert wurde. Die alternative Anmeldung über E-Mail klappte ebenfalls nicht. Die Bestätigungs-E-Mail habe ich bis heute (zwei Tage später) noch nicht empfangen. Dies macht es unmöglich, das Konto zu erstellen und RingGo zu nutzen. Darüber hinaus ist es absurd, dass man eine App verwenden soll, um auf Parkplätzen zu bezahlen, auf denen oft kein Handyempfang vorhanden ist. In solchen Situationen ist RingGo schlichtweg nutzlos. Insgesamt kann ich Ringo nicht empfehlen, da sie offensichtlich nur für britische Nutzer ausgelegt ist und für internationale Anwender keinerlei Funktionalität bietet. Ich hoffe, dass die Entwickler dies in Zukunft berücksichtigen und RingGo für ein breiteres Publikum zugänglicher machen und somit auch den Urlaub verschönern.
I’m a German I was in Stirling and tried to park my car on a spot, where the parking machine wasn’t working. I downloaded the diese App App. In the App everything worked perfectly, till I have to fill in my number plate. The App says, that only UK number plates are allowed. I tried to scan my German plate but the app doesn’t recognize it as a plate number. I deleted the app and searched for another parking spot.
There are a few tourists in the UK which have no chance to park in ur spots if the machine is broke. A fix for this problem would be nice.

Tried to book parking at a location as defined on the signage but it told me that car park doesn't exist. 👎🏻

Trying to install this to pay for parking in Lowestoft. Despite 5G network, the app won’t move past the registration screen. Completely useless.
When I try to pay with the app, it crashes. I can't access the help menu or my account either because an error message is displayed immediately.
You arrive as a stranger in front of the parking. You download the app under stress because you’re blocking the entrance. You register (why when in app buying is possible to program?) and you only give authorization for gps and other capabilities to use while using the app, because let’s face it the app looks dodgy. And then nothing is found although the app can show you on the map and the parking is right there. Just don’t forget to delete your account once you decide not to use this idiot application. Because who knows how their security and encryption of your credit card number is on their website.
Mit 0049… hat es bei mir funktioniert.
Fehlermeldung beim Bezahlen - unabhängig von Standort und Zahlweise. Kostet Zeit und Nerven.

habe alle möglichen Varianten der Telefonnummer ausprobiert aber nichts funktioniert. Hier muss dringend nachgebessert werden.
Super schlechte App!!! Man hätte es nicht komplizierter machen können. Es ist unmöglich, dort einen Account zu erstellen. Es wird ständig angezeigt, dass die Telefonnummer nicht gültig ist, wir haben sogar mit einer Nummer aus Großbritannien probiert. Wieso so Benutzer unfreundlich!? Wies muss man parken so kompliziert machen?! Wir nutzen solche Apps regelmäßig in Deutschland und sie sind super einfach, nicht wie diese hier.
Im Prinzip tolles System. Schnell registrieren können, einbuchen und …. abgezockt werden! Ich habe einmal 3,20 GBP und einmal 6,20 GBP laut App für die beiden Parkzeiten zu zahlen gehabt. Auf meinem Konto wurden aber 10,20 € und 14,20€ abgebucht. Auf der Homepage steht, dass zu den normalen Parkgebühren ggf. noch weitere Gebühren dazu kommen können. Totale Unverschämtheit solche on top Gebühren zu verlangen. Reine Abzocke!!!! Nicht installieren!!!!

Wer bitte entwirft denn bitte eine Park-App, die über 100MB hat, an einem Parkplatz wo es nur schlechtes 3G gibt? Und von Telefonvorwahlen mit +49 hat wohl auch noch nie jemand was gehört? 🤔 Der Rest RingGo funktioniert dann aber wie erwartet…
Ich habe mich eben registriert. Wenn man 0049 und die Handy Vorwahl ohne die null nutzt, bekommt man auch die Bestätigungssms. in zwei Wochen weiß ich auch, ob RingGo Probleme macht. Dann schreibe ich die Rezession ausführlicher.

Registration is tedious - the international +49 phone number syntax doesn’t work. With the British 0049 prefix, I can register. Very annoying that I have to register before I can even look at the app.
Didn’t try out the paying process yet.
