Having used this app for a couple years now, I have some experience that has changed me. I have learned that breathing well is as important as good blood flow in your veins. People don’t naturally think of it as important because our brains do it unconsciously and we don’t have to think about it. But when we stop to take a moment and breathe, we find that heart rate shifts, emotions are regulated, and perspectives change. It actually feels quite miraculous.
As a Christian, I know that many people are leery of (even the word) meditation. However, it is my joy to carry the message of truth regarding meditation. Meditation (ie using my own breath) has carried me through hard times and bolstered my energy when I’m weary. It is using the body and breath to be the recharge, the Gatorade, if you will, to the soul. Even Job 33:4 says, “the Spirit of God has made me, the breath of the Almighty gives me life. “
Breath is profound and simple all at the same time. Our breath is a gift and I believe a life lived well, tends this gift.

I got this last Christmas Eve. Used it for a while... I decided to try it again before canceling my subscription. Reminded me how great the daily calm is. I love Tamara’s voice and it’s a wonderful way to start your day. And then I discovered the Master classes. Don’t know if I overlooked these when I first got the app or if it’s been added. Listened to Elizabeth Gilbert’s and was blown away. Just fantastic. Honestly either one of these is worth the price of admission. And to have both?! Plus other features I haven’t explored yet. Honestly I’m glad there is a subscription fee because it made me revisit this amazing tool. I am using it every day again and it really is making a positive impact on my mood and overall feeling of happiness. Worth every penny. If you are ready to be good to yourself give it a try. I have experienced panic attacks since childhood. A couple of years ago something new started that frightened me. I didn’t recognize it as anxiety. Fours years of doctors, tests...no diagnosis or help. Finally a neurologist prescribed citalopram. Just about that time I discovered Calm. I feel like I have my life back! The drug helps, but if I let days go by without using Calm, I can feel the anxiety and tension returning. It seems to “reset” my brain. It has really trained me to be more cognizant of my anxiety and tension and now I can quickly use some of the techniques I’ve learned. I am very grateful for it.

I absolutely enjoy the Calm app. I always fall asleep to a story before it ends which is great and gives me a sense of reliability. When I open my phone the next morning I usually am surprised to see the calm app open and it makes me wonder ‘what story did I listen to?’ That puts a smile on my face.
Is it possible to have the volume setting be intuitive to my selection? It always comes on louder than I listen to. Just an idea.

The free version doesn’t come with many options but even if it’s 2-3 stories that are free I’ll keep listening to the same ones over and over until i could afford the full version, but the stories do something to you and makes you so calm and I’m sleeping way better !! The nights when I think I can’t sleep or not calm this does the trick !! So gooood !!!

This app is the only thing besides medication that has helped me deal with my anxiety. Now at night when I wake up from a nightmare and I’m having heart palpitations and I feel on the brink of a panic attack, I can just reach over, grab my headphones, and Calm myself down. 7 days of Calming Anxiety changed my life. Thank you so so so so so much. I recommend this app to everyone I know.

I don’t usually leave a review for any apps. But for this one I have to. I just completed my 386th session and I’m obsessed. It’s the longest I’ve ever committed to an app. So worth the yearly subscription. Just wish I had enough money for the lifetime. But I know that would be worth it. Great stories and amazing life lesson and sound options. One of the best investments I’ve made.

I downloaded this app for when I travel. I am used to sleeping with the white noise of a fan, and needed something for on the road.

This app has been a life saver (ie sleep saver) for me. I even use it at home as the white noise options work to drown out background noise from neighbors or the street. Amazing. Thank you ?

Getting the Calm app is the best thing I think I have ever done for myself!
I wish I had known about it earlier in my life. But it is helping me so much in my retirement Journey!
I can focus more, take deep breaths when I get frustrated, deal with people that are difficult to deal with, and in general just live more peacefully.

This is the #1 app you should use to help with anxiety and sleep. There are cute and calming sleep stories that plot me to bed every night, and daily meditation you can use for stress, anxiety and other negative emotions. Defiantly get this app for a heather brain and good motivation!

Have the yearly pro membership and between the music to fall asleep to and daily meditations I use it all the time and it’s helped this mental quite a bit!

This has been a very very dear friend to me when I wake up or just seem to be having a bit so great day or even moment Calm brings me life. I’m so many aspects this is the App of all APPS

I love this app same with my friends because it has so many options for any stressful situation and helps you fall asleep in different ways.

It feels like I’m sleeping it so relaxing and fun I’m been doing this for like 2 days and it a good app the one thing that I don’t like is that you have to pay for most of the stuff
