I like this app so and so. First, I’m quite disappointed by the user friendliness of the app. It runs very slowly. You tap on something and then you have to wait a couple of seconds before it reacts. Not smooth at all. secondly, I would like more guided sleep meditation that focuses on your breath and relaxation rather than stories or something where you are evaluating and asking questions. Thirdly, I like the „Daytime“ meditations!

It’s just so expensive, I would buy it for the yearly price, to me it’s totally worth it, but not every year again...

my mom gifted me the premium version of soultime when I just came out of a difficult phase in my life and felt exhausted. I had been telling her about how much I enjoy and benefit from the app (free version- there’s a lot in there too) that she felt she wanted me to have full access to all the app has to offer. I’ve been using it everyday since and it is truly one of the best gifts I have ever gotten. With the 2-3 minute daily meditation I get to connect with God even on the most stressful days, there are ‘help for sleep’ meditations that are wonderfully peaceful and calming. There are also hands on life advice meditations that are packed with wisdom on how to deal with anxiety, difficult conversations, treating yourself well and so many more that add growth and value to my life and not only comfort me in the moment of my weakness but more so introduce practical steps on how to live a healthier better life and in that enable and encourage me to step out of the very thing that has been stressing me out. Here’s another genius thing: This app works with an algorithm where you get to ‘track your mood’- you select adjectives from a list about how you feel about yourself, others and God. Soultime then suggests meditations based on your mood and even provides bible verses that address the way you feel right in the moment. About a week ago, I had trouble falling asleep because negative thoughts and feelings kept me up. I opened the app, tracked my mood and then read the Bible verses that the app gave me out loud. At once the feelings went away and I was filled with the peace that Philippians 4:7 talks about.
the meditations, music, even background pictures and soothing noises are healing for the soul. You can really tell that the developers love Jesus and have put their hearts into creating an excellent app! I am much richer for it.
