The app was already bad to begin with. But with the latest updates, the initials registration process itself is a challenge! It always fails . Switching back to SMS otp mode is completely useless since I don't get the messages anyway. Now the smart otp is also dead! Great. No transactions at all.
Useless as much as customer value of SBI. App is just to show your way out of This bank.
I installed the app since i have issues receiving otp. But to register the app, it asks for an otp!! Great job sbi!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don’t know who came up with this idiotic app design??
Idea of an OTP is to avoid single point of failure - meaning - to successfully hack an account, you need to hack both the device where you are logging into your account AND the device where you receive OTP.
This app requires you to log into your SBI account!!! So basically your phone becomes single point of failure!
They should have followed google authenticator design.
The button for getting online OTP just doesn’t work on the first click. Is it a button? Have I clicked? There is no feedback. Just a terrible experience.
Worst app ever seen in appstore. The app gets crashed so often. No testing done for bank application. How can I put my trust in SBI banking apps? Learn from the way private banks built their applications.
This is the worst customer service and experience. How one supposed to use e-banking if otp app doesn't work
Such a amazing option to get OTP but stops working for no reason saying invalid login. Cannot re register since the high security options won’t work. Can’t get response from customer care. I am stuck.
Every update of your app is just nonsense and stops all the work.

Updated on the app in December 2019 and the same hell...no responsibility...
I am out of INDIA and suddenly the app registration is changed.i have to do it again. My mobile number is on a 3G sim and I use this app in my iPhone which doesn’t support 3G. Now I am unable to use this app because it’s not registering. Also I can’t use 3G SIM in my current phone because it need 4G. Due to my current location out of India . I can’t change my SIM to 4G. Please recruit some competent people who can really think and plan in simple clear way so that people life doesn’t get complicated due to your actions. Can you help if possible to solve the mess created by you.
