Whova - Event & Conference App Avis

Playing a video from this app is awful.

* Vimeo Live/iPhone: no way to stop playback and return to the previous menu
* YouTube Recorder/iPad: “full screen is not supported”
* Watch on desktop link ? Link to the event main page, not the video

Agenda is not even localized (timezone) on a web browser. Maybe there is a setting somewhere. Or not.

User experience issues plague the interface.
150MB for this, seriously ?

I’m attending a conference with sessions composed of 3 different papers. I read the abstracts and find which papers interest me. Let’s take paper 400 at 9.30 Thursday for example - but then I have to open each of the parallèle sessions at 9.30 to find where paper 400 will be presented. Other frustrations include the fact that I can’t see or print a overview of the whole schedule on a single page. The ability to see\print an overview of all abstracts should also be easy to find (not having to click in and out of each session to read)

cette application works well. Efficient but could be simplified. For example, searching for new events could be made more visible and easy to find. It is not, especially when you are registered for an ongoing event - that takes up the whole screen. In terms of interface and visuals I think it can be made more simple and accessible.

Also, there are still very few events going on cette application. Coverage of events really needs to expand for it to become the ideal events attending tool that it has so much potential to become. Otherwise, fantastic idea!

Great experience following the Excellence in Leadership conference using the cette application application which allowed me not only to follow the different presentations but to also interact with the presenters and moderators using Q&A and network with other participants. Great experience as if I was live in the event!
