I signed up for ente Auth for a trial as it was recommended by several sites and I wanted an open-source multi-platform authenticator. At the same time, I signed up for entePhotos out of curiosity. Thinking they were two completely different apps (and they are, each with its own address), I used the same email but a different password as it should be. I also enabled 2FA in entePhotos using enteAuth. But, when I tried to log in to Auth again, I was asked to provide the 2FA code from … Auth (I had to use my recovery code). All that because, very confusingly, if you use the same email, all that you do on one affects the other (password, 2FA). Ente should make this clearer and finally separate them completely.
