In 1929, the original Grand Teton National Park only protected the Teton Range and the valley’s piedmont lakes. In 1950, the park expanded to include the valley floor - preserving the park's spectacular views. Today, the jagged peaks and crystalline lakes are home to grizzly bears, wolves, moose, and herds of bison and elk. Notes Download the app before you arrive. Cell service and Wi-Fi are limited.
