In 1929, the original Grand Teton National Park only protected the Teton Range and the valley’s piedmont lakes. In 1950, the park expanded to include the valley floor - preserving the park's spectacular views. Today, the jagged peaks and crystalline lakes are home to grizzly bears, wolves, moose, and herds of bison and elk. Notes Download the app before you arrive. Cell service and Wi-Fi are limited. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Great resource

Worked well. Good maps. Doesn’t have ALL the trails and stops but still a great resource that can be downloaded before hand for offline mode. Make sure it finishes downloading though in the settings. Would have liked there to be a little more information about each stop but I don’t think it’s meant to be a comprehensive guide. It could be though and I might even pay for it if it was that good and with more photos. Otherwise a 5-star for convenience and exceeding expectations.

A lifesaver!

If you are visiting the Tetons, get this app! In the park there are many areas where there’s no cell service, but by downloading all the content beforehand, you can still access maps, trails, tour info, and more! This was a lifesaver for our family. I actually paid for another app, but we used this one.

Great to have the offline map

I love this app. It was great to have the map on my phone, especially when snow shoeing. We could not see the trail but with the map we could find our way back to the trail and to the car. Really useful! I'm hoping every national park will have such an app
