Not working on iPad

The app requires an SMS message to be send to that device. This makes it impossible to use on the iPad.
It also reduces an important security feature to use two devices for banking. The app on one device (for me my iPad) a d for authentification (f.e. via SMS) another device (my iPhone)

Hope diese App fixes that issue - which btw did not excist on their old app.

The old App was better

The registration of the new App on my mobile and activation of the Mobile Key worked fine, but no chance to get the App working on my iPad (no SIM) as well. It worked with the “old App”, so that means one step backwards. The segregation between two devices (banking with iPad, confirmation with mobile phone) is gone. Developers get back to work!

Why is that so?

I have to delete the app since I am transferring it to my other phone. I am trying to log.in but it always says try it again later. For how many times. I have to pay rates since I am located abroad. Can anyone fix this? The new app is very disappointing.

Worst app worst support system

I had problems with my OTP since i am living abroad. I asked them to help me fix it. I called them with their hotlines provided but no answer. I emailed them and they told me they will call me but i did not receive any calls. Same problem with another bank they fixed it thru email. Up until now i cant get OTP. Worst is few days ago i cant even open this app!!

forced to use the app on my roaming phone

this new app is now forcing me to use it on my roaming phone, which is not really an issue but when it does the device registration, the verifying step is always not successful and i always get the “try again later” error, because the sms is not getting sent successfully for whatever reason.

i tested sending a normal sms to myself and it is successful, so it’s not my phone, it’s not my phone balance, it’s most likely from diese App’s side.

even if i wanted to change my mobile number i CANNOT do that, because it’s asking me to go to “my nearest diese App atm”. DEAD. I WANT TO GIVE NEGATIVE STARS.

dangerously unfunctional app! Beware!

I want to open an account thru this app but everytime I try i met SEVERAL TECHNICAL PROBLEMS like they asked me to take a photo of my id but there is NO shutter button. At some steps I asked to provide info, once I typed it, it doesnt proceed to the next page. One thing is for more, they keep on telling me to delete/reinstall the app, update my iOs etc. But none of these really worked. As of writing, Ive been trying for 8 days straight every single day to open an account but still no success. What a waste of offer saying their mobile app is convenient. It’s mere lie!

older version was way better

this app s*cks. had to reload for my roaming sim for registering the device as this is supposed to send a text msg but i can‘t get it to work. digital banks are really so much better and when diese App tried to be one it can‘t compare to them.

Can’t register when you’re overseas

When I tried using the app, it asked me to send a message to a number. Since I’m overseas, i dont think the message is sent so the verification just reached timeout hence I cant log into the app.

Basically still the same app since my last review

Copy and paste still not there, but autofill is available when typing the amount to transfer/pay. Like, seriously? What’s there to autofill?

And still, when typing the amount, you can’t change keyboards. So when your phone is set to the EU region, you won’t be able to use a decimal point when typing an amount. You know what would have been a nice work around? See first paragraph.

Rubbish app, this is making our lives difficult

This new app is rubbish. Are trying to make our lives more difficult? Why make registration harder? Why make a new app instead of upgrading/ updating the existing app?

PLEASE FIX

Dear devs, we cannot put a decimal point for our money transfers. Your app does not work for people living in Germany. We use comma here instead of decimal for cents. Please fix this. You are requiring us to switch to this new diese App app and yet you have not fixed this issue. We’d rather use the old app than this.

Cannot even login

Downloaded it as the old one expires by tomorrow. When using my credentials to login the app says that it cannot be processed at this time.

Terrible app

Unbelievable you can’t use the new diese App app on the iPad. Why do you have to register your device using a SIM card in the device? What happens if you loose your phone? Before you send only a code to the registered phone number. It worked well for years. This new app is useless.

Need load to freaking register the app for the first time

Can‘t you afford to give SMS verification for free? I‘m working abroad here in Germany and it costs more to send an SMS back to the PH just to verify your app. It‘s been like this even when I was back in the PH with your old app. I always questioned why the user themselves need to pay for accessing your app the first time!! What if it was an emergency and you didn‘t have load? Not every Filipino has spare load to send a device registration message to you guys. As an app developer, there are many ways to get the device information without the user being the one to send it. What a stupid workaround on your part! Please fix this!!

Useless!

Old app is better. Cannot transfer while old app can. Cannot enroll recipient while old app can. Archive this away please!

Cannot enter the decimal value

The old app is better. I am trying to pay a bill but i could not enter the decimal place. Please improve this. My locality is Germany so decimal point here is a comma instead of a period but this is not available for change and the keypad num is simply not working.

Bpi is getting worst with this update👎👎👎

Before the Update, diese App is easy and very user friendly but now I will not recommend it anymore. Better to look for other bank. Even Gcash transaction is difficult. Specialy when i’m outside of the country transaction its not easy as like before. 👎🤌👎😢

App not fit for iPad without sim

diese App mobile works on iPad but the new diese App app does not work anymore.

Okay but leaves a lot to be desired

Updates often break functions that worked before. For example with Version 3.0 the registration for mobile pin on a phone had to be repeated. With a proper beta test in place something like this should not have happened.
Additionally, some functions like exchange $ is still not available in the App and can only be done via the web interface. That makes no sense at all.
Please have a look at some banking apps from other countries to see what is possible in 2023. Maybe it’s time to be a bit more innovative.
