It has a few annoying bugs. The buttons up top disappear under the search bar. I like the visuals though. It’s beautifully designed.
Thus no added benefit without that function, as iOS has an integrated Dictionary, Thesaurus and many Translations.
The app ist good except for the broken widget since the last update and the buggy word of the day shortcut. The widget is not rendered properly and the the word of the day shortcut always shows some random word, which does not correspond to the current word of the day. Software support is not interested in reacting to user feedback or bug reporting
I miss the graphic data of the printet version!
Nachdem ich einige Jahrzehnte bereits mit der gedruckten Version gearbeitet habe, nun der Wechsel zur elektronischen Ausgabe. Bisher habe ich es nicht bereut.

Merriam-Webster is a great dictionary, and this app does a great job of giving an access to it. Search is instantaneous, you can tap on any word and see its meaning right away, and nothing gets in the way.
Picked this app up for 2.39€ and it just works. No quirks or crashes, yet. Everything I needed to look up so far was covered. The pictures are useful and well done.

The app is of great help when looking for precise wording and alternate vocabulary. The thesaurus is is of particular help when writing articles. I never experienced any bug or broken link within the app. It is fast and most important comprehensive in vocabulary.
