When I opened the app this morning, I was unpleasantly surprised by not having an option to not track.
You did say that I could change my tracking options in the settings, but when I went to do that I discovered I must register to change those settings.
These requirements convinced me to to say goodbye to your app. I wish you all the best, and maybe a little more common sense.
The app has a very good structure, is user friendly and intuitive. I also like the subscription model.
... however, the phonetics seem to be incorrect. E.g. for the word „igneous“ the phonetics are /ˈɪɡneəs/ instead of /ˈɪɡnɪəs/. Or for the word „effrontery“ it is /eˈfrəntəre/ instead of /ɪˈfrʌntəri/. As I need the phonetics to improve my pronunciation, I decided to delete the app. I am also not a language professional, so maybe there are different schools of phonetics (?!) ... Nonetheless, it deviates vastly from what I learned back in school. Thus, it just did not make sense for me.
On the other hand, if you do not care about phonetics, you will enjoy this dictionary.
I like this app very much and I even paid for the subscription , but it does not open since two days. Please fix it !

Merriam-Webster zeigt wie man eine moderne, ansprechende App macht. Sehr viel gute Information.
English isn’t my first language. That’s why I like the precise explanations given, notes on common and special usage of nouns. Really helpful are links to related words as well as lists of synonyms and antonyms.

Merriam-Webster is a lovely app. It’s definitions are concise yet comprehensive. It also has a intuitive user interface.
It’s a great way to refresh vocabulary and makes writing papers easier. :)

Would be nice to have a search bad at the bottom of the screen, a swipe toward the bottom gesture to open the search box
There has not been a day that I haven’t used this app; it is the most informative and well-structured application I’ve come across and I’m particularly fond of the favourites feature. Would absolutely recommend!

Hatte früher die HD-Version fürs iPad gekauft, die nun nicht mehr unterstützt wird. Dafür soll ich jetzt diese Version als Ersatz laden, in der Werbung angezeigt wird bis ich MerriamWebsterDictionary nochmals kaufe. Nein danke.
Eine der wenigen Apps bei denen ich bereit war Geld für eine Premium Version auszugeben. Unterm Strich hat sich das für mich als Englisch Studenten auch gelohnt. Man muss diese Premium App jedoch für jedes Gerät einzeln kaufen...
