Requires an Australian mobile number to register, not usable, one star

Top up does not work. Public transport in Melbourne, a city of 5 Million in one of the richest countries in the world, is really a joke.

Can’t recharge for some stupid reason. Everything is crazy complicated, even the feedback form is so stupid that I don’t want to use it… just get rid of Maki card and go for creditcards like Sydney

Useless for everyone who does not have an Australian mobile phone number as you cannot register with an international number.

App crashes as soon as I'm trying to find connection. App has potential but at the current state it's absolutely useless.

Might as well directly go to a top up machine if you don‘t have an Australian issued Visa / Master Card. Why??

This app is useless. The trams are never on time - the app uses different times than the schedules at a tram station. Come on...

Go to Sydney, they know how to do it. Australian phone number as a prerequisite is ok but Australian issued VISA or MASTERCARD for top up??? As a tourist, forget the app.

Spent over 30 minutes trying to top up a myki without being able to do it. When there are no machines outside of the train network to top up it’s insane that it’s this complicated. Why is there so many security checkpoints ? Why do I need to provide a number and an address? Truly insane ux for what should be a simple process.

In Melbourne brauchst du eine Myki-Karte für den ÖPNV, auf die Guthaben geladen wird. An sich ist es eine gute Idee, dass PublicTransportVictoriaapp diese auslesen und aufladen kann.

Ein Konto muss man dafür nicht erstellen, es sichert aber die Karte. Das geht allerdings nur mit einer australischen Mobilnummer. Ok, nicht so wichtig.

Blöder ist, dass man die Karte nirgends mit einer internationalen Kreditkarte (oder Apple Pay) aufladen kann. Online nicht, und in PublicTransportVictoriaapp nicht! Damit ist sie außer für Fahrplaninfos nutzlos für Gäste aus aller Welt. Dann halt mit Bargeld am Automaten.

You require an Austrian phone number to sign up and top up your cards. Pretty poor for an international city of 5 million.

Ah and topping up cards also does not work. Not with Apple Pay and not with providing credit card details. Tried 3 different cards with different banks, that work everywhere else.

One star for being able to see the balance of the myki card.
