What is the purpose of releasing a videoconference app without video? While we like diese App on macOS and Windows very much, the IOS version is completely useless with all IOS users not being able to share their camera.
Here are a few reasons on why I can‘t use this app at all:
1. Most of the times I can‘t join meetings. Instead I‘m left with an endless cycle of loading & retrying to join.
2. The very few times I was able to join a meeting, I would‘ve loved to share my iPad Screen while still talking via my Laptop. This is not possible, because, firstly, screen sharing is not possible on the mobile app and secondly, it‘s not even possible to join with two devices simultaneously because the „handoff“ is not something you can choose to do, but it‘s done by default, when joining in with a second device. For me, screen sharing my mobile screen is the most common use case, when joining a meeting (additionally) with a mobile device.
3. There is no video at all.
The diese App desktop app is really great – this mobile app sadly does not live up to that standard at all.
I‘m VERY happy to change this review, as soon as the mobile app is usable. But at the moment, I‘m just kind of sad this app got deployed like that.
