This was long overdue! Finally I can use my Roon wherever I want.
The only think that I miss now is the support of CarPlay. This would be Roon heaven for me. If you will add this in an update I would be happy to give 5 stars!

ARC ist eine großartige mobile Ergänzung zu Roon. Inzwischen funktioniert auch ARC auf CarPlay einigermaßen. Auf dem iPhone oder iPad funktioniert es großartig.

App an sich gut gedacht und auch für CarPlay konzipiert, was mein Hauptanwenungsfall ist (Skoda, Verbindung über Bluetooth oder Kabel). Leider ist Arc überhaupt nicht ausgereift. Alben werden nicht oder falsch angezeigt und RoonARC hängt immer mal wieder. Bis RoonARC stabil ist werde ich weiter Tidal nutzen (müssen).

Eigentlich ist RoonARC an sich nicht schlecht. Jetzt kann man das was die Konkurrenz (Plex, DS Audio…) auch kann.
Aber: warum werden soviele Daten erfasst!?
Warum gibt es keine 2FA !? Warum wird der Server sofort von überall angegriffen? Seit der Deinstallation ist wieder Ruhe!!! Sorry, aber so nicht! Das kann die Konkurrenz besser und billiger!!!!
P.S. Leider meldet sich der Support auch nicht.

Stürzt ständig ab. So macht's keinen Spaß. Überdies wird das iPhone SEHR warm. Weitere Auffälligkeit: wenn ich Roon ARC laufen lasse im Hintergrund und Sport mache mit einem Polar Brustgurt verliert der Sender des Brustgurts die Bluetooth Verbindung zum iPhone (reproduzierbar). Erst wenn ich Roon ARC schließe läuft die Verbindung des Brustgurtes wieder stabil zum iPhone. Könnte natürlich auch ein Bug vom Sender (Polar) sein.

App is overheating my latest iPhone 14 Pro Max 1Tb My phone is getting dangerous hot. Downloads of an Album to local phone memory needs 5 to 10 minutes sometimes and is incredibly slow. I prefer to download my albums to local iPhone memory and listen offline or with car play. Downloads do not work anymore if iPhone screen is off. Downloads are incomplete or broken. That app seems not be finished and probably still in alpha or early beta mode. I deleted the app from my phone cause I was seriously concerned that the temperature from Roon Arc will kill my expensive iPhone.

The app gets worse from release to release. Please ensure the implementation and stability of existing features before you bring new partners on board and inflate the app. Otherwise you will lose your loyal and convinced customers. Liftime subscriber and Ex-Startup CEO.

In der aktuellen Version saugt Roon ARC die Batterie des iPhones sehr schnell leer.

RoonARC ist insgesamt okay. Leider gibt es mehrere Probleme, die einem den Spaß verderben. Downloads sind unheimlich langsam. In CarPlay werden keine Tags angezeigt.
Wäre wirklich toll, wenn hier schnell nachgebessert wird. Danke an die Entwickler 😊!

Aber es wäre schön, wenn ein paar Funktionen der Mutter App auch hier integriert werden, bspw. die Bookmarks.
Außerdem wäre eine native App für die Apple Watch (und andere Watches) nicht schlecht.

So gut die eigentliche Roon App funktioniert, so schlecht tut das Roon ARC. Für den Offlinebetrieb muss man ja alle gewünschten Titel Downloaden, soweit so gut. Leider lässt sich RoonARC oft nicht mehr starten und muss dann entfernt und wieder neu installiert werden. Danach heißt es dann wieder: Alles neu herunterladen. Dauert beim Umfang meiner Bibliothek jedesmal einen halben Tag.
