You can also access the 4 band Global EQ for more detailed adjustments to reduce the effects of playing through different devices whether it’s a guitar amplifier, monitor or headphones.

With GE Labs, you can create a sample of your favorite gear from overdrive pedals to amplifiers preamps or cabinets.
From there, data such as frequency characteristics, tube drive characteristics, and tonal responses will be combined into a higher-order nonlinear model to achieve the same tonal characteristics and feel of the sampled equipment.

GE Labs supports iOS/iPad OS operating systems and compatible audio interfaces/MIDI controllers.

GELABS bietet neben einem guten Klang und guter Bedienung die Möglichkeit, sein eigenes Equipment zu sampeln oder von anderen erstellte Profile herunter zu laden. Gibt es sonst mWn nur in Hardware. Auch das Preismodell finde ich mehr als fair: GELABS ist komplett nutzbar, nur wer mehr als ein Preset speichern möchte muss dafür zahlen. Prima!

GELABS ist hervorragend. Man bekommt alle Amps, Boxen und Effekt ohne zahlen zu müssen. Sogar Community-Impulse (Samples) sind mit dabei. Erst wenn man mehr als einen Preset-Slot haben möchte, muss man aus der Tasche. Mal ein komplett anderes Konzept als die üblichen Verdächtigen. Toll!
GELABS ist kompatibel mit den gängigen DAWs (Cubasis und GarageBand habe ich getestet).
Einziger Kritikpunkt:
Aktuell muss man zwischen DAW und App hin und herspringen. Perfekt wäre, wenn das ganze als Audio Unit angeboten würde.

You have to switch between with App and Cubasis 3 to get it running together. While doing so crashes occur not every time, but often. I’m using an iPad Pro 2018, newest IOS version.
I don’t have the nerve to use it that way. Switching back-and-forth between the apps is complicated and then the crashes on top of that is too much. That is a pity because I like the sounds of this app and also the workflow is fine in my opinion.

Ich nutze GELABS, um Gitarre zu üben und finde sie richtig gut. Ein paar mehr hochwertige legendäre Presets wären wünschenswert, es sind noch nicht mal alle Amps usw. in den Presets verwendet. Macht mal ein Update 🤩

Man bekommt in der Free Version Zugriff auf den kompletten Inhalt und kann sich für Geld Speicherplätze für Presets kaufen. Finde ich eine tolle Lösung. Klanglich überzeugt GELABS auf ganzer Linie.
