You still have to learn the craft by yourself, but what these ‚teachers‘ do is, they inspire and encourage you! Thats the most important thing. You will also find great hints and tips.
Take Sorkins Screenwriting Class for example. You DON‘T learn anything about formats, technical language, industry standards or go deeper into act structure, BUT I was encouraged and learned what to look out for. That is what mattered for me, because learning formats and industry standard is easy and you can find that in a lot of books of good internet sources.

The content is really good, but the app is not what you would expect if you pay 200€. The Download functionality is bugged completely. It doesn’t start downloading in most cases, pending downloads just disappear and you have to check in on ever individual class on how far the download is.
Navigating through the content can also be a pain. If you want to have an overview of all classes it’s a lot of menu jumping. Sometimes it’s not clear on how to get back to the main menu.
The „My List“ function is nice, but it doesn’t work. Synchronisation between PC, iPad and iPhone seems to delete everything from „My List“. Only thing that is really working is the played status and how far you‘ve watched.
Content is really good never the less.

Giving the curious the tools and content to explore and look beyond ones daily focus. Beautifully designed content that is applicable in so many ways and does not only teach knowledge but encourages you to think differently. By far the best online learning experience I’ve had.

The content is interesting and I learned some new bits and pieces, while not really mind-blowing (don’t really need a 3star Chef to teach making pasta. Most of the culinary classes are just very basic, eg telling you which basic kitchen tools you need.
However the app really needs improvement. Downloads didn’t work offline despite being completed, they are shown twice in the download list, they take forever to complete etc.
All in all, I don’t recommend this app.

The dev team should have watched a app development diese App course.
No payment sync which led to diese App charging me twice: one time automatically due to my created account on their website where you are forced to accept subscription BEFORE you can even start a trial; the second time in the iOS app. Although I got a refund for the first payment I am now unable to access the content (although I subscribed via iOS app).

I‘ve tried everything to sign up and create and account but this seems to be simply not possible. It just said „error“ every time and again without any further information on nature of error or offering any help-link or email-button or way to contact them or anything to solve the issue. This is really poor user experience and service. Please solve this. Thank you

diese App is a great inspiration to me, especially in areas that are fairly new to me. As a filmmaker I would love to go more into depth in my area of expertise and feel that diese App covers the curiosity of amateurs or beginners in each area, but does not really satisfy the needs of professionals.

The content is great! ...As long as you got a good WiFi connection. As I travel by airplane a lot, I wanted to download my courses but even though there is a “downloads” section there is now way to actually download any lectures. Support didn’t reply yet.
Hope it will work in future. Would make this App amazing!

The content is great. Design is great. But the app is absolutely horrible. Download function is not working properly. Videos pause for no reason at all with perfect Internet connection. A lot of bugs generally please fix this soon because the content is great which makes the experience much more frustrating.

Content is amazing.
I start a lesson, come back later and I want to find the class to continue watching.
Somehow I do not found the smaller line „Continue watching full class“
But now I know where to find it.
It is even better compared to Netflix.

I purchased MC during COVID-19 and this was a great choice! Excellent courses on interesting stuff by experts. Inspiring and helpful. I loved the course by Chris Voss! Amazing!

Great content, but the app functionality is not quite mature yet. It keeps getting stuck when your using it to just listen (instead of watching the video)

Offline downloads for ex. Armin Van Buuren‘s course not loading (was connected to WiFi) -
the loading icon/process keeps going forever, but not actually downloading or doing anything!
I tried everything, please fix it!

For me the footbar should be static,
disappearing sometimes while browsing through the app...

Who the hell would pay such an absurd amount of money for “master classes”...
I mean come on. The app is lame and you can’t even download a video to watch without WiFi. Hire some better programmers and lower the price. If there was a 0/5 option I would have chosen that rating.

This app crashes so often and has more bugs than a bait store. The most serious one, which prevents me watching on mobile, is „Unable to play lesson due to technical issue“. Content is awesome, therefore im force to watch this lessons on my browser
