The character, harmonic complexity and mystique of the Moog Model 15’s modules, from the legendary Moog 921–series oscillators and 904A Low Pass Filter, to the coveted 907 Fixed Filter Bank have been painstakingly preserved.
These include total MIDI integration, assignment for external control, use as a MIDI controller, dedicated Audio Bridge and MIDI Bridge modules, looping recorder module with overdubbing, a master ping-pong delay module and a new extension cabinet that includes additional amplifiers and voltage-controlled reversible attenuators that can be used for effects like ring-modulation.

Simple swipes and taps provide instant access to a traditional Moog keyboard, 1150 ribbon controller, 8-step sequencing arpeggiator and the award-winning Animoog keyboard with 22 built-in scales and polyphonic modulation capabilities.
In order to develop the most immersive and expressive modular interface possible, the Model 15 App has been designed utilizing Apple’s new Metal advanced graphics engine.
Also included are extended features which expand the capabilities of the app beyond the traditional offerings of the hardware Moog Model 15.
The Model 15 App features both monophonic and 4-voice polyphonic operation is easily commanded via 4 seamlessly integrated controllers.
Because the Model 15 App utilizes Apple’s Metal technology, only 64-bit devices are supported.
This ensures that all zooming, panning and modular patching throughout the application feels completely natural, something that would have been impossible otherwise.
Compatible devices include iPhone 5s or newer, iPod touch 6 or newer, iPad Air or newer, and the iPad Pro.
The Model 15 App requires iOS version 12.4 or later to work.

Zum Patchen ist allerdings auch das 12,9 nicht groß genug, aber wenigstens kann ich es hochkant spielen, da sehe ich etwas mehr. Der Sound ist prima, wobei es mir persönlich völlig wurscht ist, ob das Original getroffen wurde oder nicht.

Moog ist mit Arturia führend was die Synths in App Form angeht. Mitunter auch grafisch die schönsten. Toller Sound. Würde mir eine DAW wünschen im Stile der Korg Gadget App. Beim Model 15 mag ich auch sehr die Umschaltungsvariationen (Keys, Animoog, Arp und Ribbon). Habe mir auch alle in App-Käufe spendiert. Weiter so Moog!

Der Sound ist ziemlich authentisch; kenne das "Monster" aus eigener Erfahrung. Das 24db-Tiefpassfilter klingt aber im Original voller und bei teilweiser Öffnung des Filters "schnarrt" der Sägezahn noch spürbarer.
Die Zoom-Funktion der grafischen Oberfläche zum Minimieren geht nicht klein genug herunter. Auf einem 12"-iPad sieht man zwar alles sehr detailiert, aber zur Soundentwicklung ist ein größerer Überblick aller Module und deren Verkabelung essentiell wichtig. Scrollen ist dann hinderlich.
Wenn der Sound "steht" sollte die virtuelle Tastatur ein bisschen länger (tiefere) Tasten haben, um nuancierter modulieren zu können.
Die Poti-Knöpfe könnten in der silbernen Kappe ein bischen "glühen", so hat man einen optischen Feedback den Knop erwischt zu haben.
Ich wünsche mir den Bode-Frequenzshifter und noch einen weiteren Envelope-Generator.

Nicht allein das Zeitkorett verschwindet während des Musikmachens mit MODEL 15!
moog hat erneut die Physis des eigenen Synthesizers detailgetreu eingefangen. Alles wichtige ist visuell erreichbar, sowie gut bedienbar und noch mehr... Die Grenzen zwischen Digitalinstrument und Analogsound vereint.
Wer sich der ganzen Ästhetik des Klanges hingeben möchte, mag seinen (moog)Controller bemühen, um die Loslösung von Zeit und (T)raum zu begreifen.
Der Preis für MODEL 15? Mehr als berechtigt.
Wer zahlt darf den Inbegriff von Klangästhetik bespielen und auch gestaltend begreifen.

Leider ist die Abspielrichtungsfunktion vom Arpeggiator fehlerhaft, da sie nicht das tut was sie sollte...lässt sich zwar einstellen, funktioniert aber nicht...ich hoffe, das sich das bald ändert...für eine teure App wie diese eigentlich ein wenig traurig...bis dahin nur einen Stern...und der Support antwortet nicht auf meine mail...sehr schade für soviel Geld

Bought this app to learn synthesis, I was not disappointed. Resources on the web are rare but there are a few and I was able to figure it out quick enough. I’m a software developer, though, so your mileage may vary.
In addition, the sound is amazing. I own a 600€ hardware synth and the oscillators and the filter sound good but the sound of this app is something else. It feels like the oscillators just have more harmonics and the filter is amazing when it comes to creating lush soundscapes. If I ever had the money to buy an actual Model 15, I’d do it.

Playing with this on my M1 Mac - and I'm really happy that Moog allows this. This is a must have for any Moog fan. I sounds great.
Hope it will be available as a Mac plug-in or full standalone on M1 Macs one day. I would give quite some money for that.

It works also as a plugin in Logic for example, if you install all updates. First it only worked in standalone mode, but I could easily fix the rest by updating.

What a phantasical work, everything Works Fine under interapp Audio in AUM, but I have crackles and distorting Noise in AUM iOS 14, iPadPro 9,7 under Audio Unit Extension
