Good Food Avis

My saved recipes, which are free to view on the BBC good food website, can only be accessed on the app if I pay the subscription fee. 😡
Deleted 5 minutes after installation.

Pay to get a recipe? Really????? No thanks

Great app but since the last update it closes every time you go off the screen! I use it every day and it’s SO frustrating.
More frustrating as the recipes are great - it just has a bug that logs me off every time.

I have been using the app and the website for years and decided to splash out on a subscription in order to be rid of all the ads, but when I log in to the website using the same account that I use for the app they are still there! This is very disappointing and frankly a bit of a rip-off.

A new comment after recently updating app - when I want to save a recipe the app crashes !
Tried several times to no avail !
This is a good useful app with loads of resources - but I’m going back to the online webpage on my phone where I can save the recipes and read the reviews!

It’s good - I use it a lot but it’s really irritating that I can’t see the comments and reviews of people who’ve made the recipe on my iPhone app ☹️

I love the app but with the new updates you now cannot choose where you save your recipes - i have different folders for different types of meals. I tried to save a dessert into the dessert folder, but it has just gone into a generic place this means as you save more recipes you have to go through everything

A lot of good and original recipes, some of them are a fail though, definitely useful to read the comments. The interface and search in “my good food” (saved recipes) could be improved.

Can you fix this?

Great app to find good recipes to feed my family. I’ve got the App on my iPad and iPhone, but it doesn’t always synch between the two apps with my saved recipes, which is a bit annoying. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

There’s a huge variety of recipes, clear instructions. Couldn’t be easier. Search by theme, ingredient or meal.

Great interface with loads of excellent recipes. Easy to navigate and save recipes.

Good mix of recipes, everyday and eclectic, and easy to use.

A very useful a d easy to use app.

Have been cooking for over 40 years it is refreshing to find an app that I can go to in times of need. Type any main ingredient in & there’ll be a recipe to suit .
