Good overall.
The AppleWatch app crashes a lot and does not allow to change the volume or sync a book to the watch.
In the profile section of the app, you’d expect to see your credits (I finally found them in the Settings, where they don’t make much sense) as well as being able to purchase some credits or toggle to a paid subscription if you’re still on trial (my case).
Many (foreign) podcasts are not listed. Also, I’d hoped to listen to some podcasts over a Sonos system since Audiobooks is one of the services supported by Sonos but they aren’t listed.
Few books are available in other languages.
The last two complains are more about the service itself than about the apps. The AppleWatch app deserves 2 stars while the iOS app deserves 4 stars.
I read “Blue Moon Rising” by Simon R. Green. It was a very enjoyable read with a great narrator (John Keating).
