Do not buy the premium version of immoscout it is not going to help you find a place faster. It might just make you more trustworthy in the eyes of the landlord, that is to say, if you have a german account otherwise you cannot get a schufa or a proof of identity. The customer service is deplorable. I accidentally subscribed to immoscout plus for a whole year, when i realised, i called customer service (cause they did not bother to answer my email) and i offered to pay the difference for the months i had used between the yearly monthly fee and the regular monthly fee. First of all i do not understand my the does have an english translation, secondly all customer services I have been confronted to would have been understanding, but not immoscout! And if course no one spoke english! Disgusted. I will never ever subscribe to this app again and will not recommend it to my friend, but rather tell them how bad they treat they clients! Stealing money from young adults who already struggle financially!
Don’t pay for Plus+

We paid for MieterPlus for 6 months (150€ in total). If you live in a crowded area you don't have a choice but to pay this extra service = the full price, to have a chance to apply before the offer is deactivated. That is the main selling point. Price needs to either be cheaper or they need to come up with a product that better answer the problem.
I recommend apps with less traffic. We found our flat on Immowelt at the end.
