I was perfectly content with Music.app until the launch of Apple Music. The constant presence of suggestions and tops and proposition to subscribe was too much for me. I’m an old school music listener, with my own local collection.
Doppler is a very good alternative: the interface is highly Apple HIG compliant, functionality is similar, or at least enough for my usage. The possibility to mix both the Music Library (typically iTunes purchases) and imported music of lossless formats is a huge bonus!
