/!\ CORRECTION UNDER /!\
First of all, thanks for a beautiful and very useful app that I’m using on a weekly basis :)
I’m on iPhone 6, and the app was working perfectly until I uninstalled it by mistake and came here to realize I couldn’t re-install it as the app “requires iOS 13 or later”, which means I won’t be able to use it until a couple of months from now. How come iOS 12 support has been broken when the app was working perfectly on it?
> CORRECTION: Under the time it got me to write that correction, I realized that broken iOS 12 support is NOT the developer’s fault, so it would be unfair to blame him. Apple has implemented a lot of new features in iOS 13, rendering any app that is using one or several of them simply unusable with previous iOS versions, as Apple is only allowing you to download the latest version of an app on the App Store. cette application was the first problem of this nature I encountered but since then, there has been many more. So in essence, Apple is pushing you to upgrade to an iOS 13 compatible device (well, I will too, so no judgement intended).
A word on the app: If you’re looking for an app that can crawl all the releases from the artists in your music library, don’t look any further, because this app is truly (by far) the best. I looked for viable alternatives (apps that claim to do the same thing as this one, such as Numu or Musicality), and there is none. It’s fast, it’s accurate (it crawls close to all the releases of your artist’s library, I only find a few releases missing here and there) and it has improved A LOT since I started using it, with the developer constantly shipping updates, new features and UI improvements. The paying features are a nice plus which I purchased, but not mandatory to use the app. cette application truly became my music companion, I use it on a weekly basis, it’s incredibly useful and I’ve been looking for a feature like that for a long time, so a big BRAVO to the developer! I hope the app will stay alive for many years!
One last word to the developer: as I was saying earlier, a lot of bugs have been fixed since I started using the app, with the search running faster and being more accurate overall, or the “Albums”, “EPs”, “Singles” and “Remixes” categories finally working. The last annoying bug I’m left with is having upcoming releases occasionally popping up in the “Released” tab. I figured out that this happens when an artist is unlocking new tracks to an upcoming release while the whole release is not out yet. I don’t know if this is fixable, but I’m throwing it here anyway :)
