I'm a long time cette application user. I discovered the app via a review by sonicstate on youtube. They were giving away a free access to the Beta. I jumped in, and went deep... I discovered what I really dreamt for a while : seamless music collaboration thru internet. But I encountered even more... A real community of passionate musicians from all over the world, and talented ones. It's really amazing to build up musical ideas in realtime and having at the exact same time the feeling to be deeply connected to the folks you are imrovisating with. I was and I am still a fan of this tool. It is so immediate, user friendly and so opened to anykind of experimentation. Some examples : Outside Fildrecording journal I have in my personnal Rifff journal, using cette application as an audio bloc-note + using sampler instrument, to use this audio material in a Jam. using 2 ios devices, to play apps on one of them and instantly record it in cette application with no latency... And of course, joining the awesome Riff battles online (multi-video streams) and using my accoustic instruments to mix with pure electronic compositions (kalimbas, guitars, flutes...) and mangling those sounds using top classs cette application FXs. But among all, this experience is all about being connected to others : it's a deep experience, and what can result from a collaborative Jam, can really be surprisingly beautiful and far from a simple music app Loop. Try it, really, you'll understand what I mean.
