Sadly very disappointed by this app. The transcription makes no sense at all, not even closely accurate.
Not useful for recording lectures

I’m trying to record a lecture on electromagnetic forces so I van read the text for reference. But every time the professor stops to take a breath of think, the recording stops and outs in a time stamp. Might be good for recording many-person conversations, but useless for long texts. Who want a transcript with a time stamp every three seconds!

I’ve given it my voice recording but doesn’t give specifics, it’s actually skips lots of words. It it’s like it just listens to what it wants and skip other words. hope you work on that.

Otter is a wonderful and very useful tool—and very accurate too! The only thing lacking in order to give it a 5-star rating would be, in my opinion, the absence of a feature on the iPhone app to edit in real time the transcript (without of course stopping the ongoing transcription) ☺️

Amazing app 👍🏼 I uploaded 3 videos to transcript - copied the text and pasted to translate on line… so easily. Something that would’ve taken me hours to do before just literally took me 10 minutes! And for free!! Thank you 🙏🏼
