We purchased the full access for our son after having followed Justin on YouTube. The app never worked on his old ipad (2012). He just got a new one (2018), everything is up to date and the app still doesn’t work. We tried a few times to contact their assistance but never got an answer before though we’ll try again.
So disappointed...

Can you improve accessibility with voiceover? I would like to subscribe but I can’t use your app at this time. Thank you.

The automatic song update is faulty. Shows WiFi not connected when all other iPad apps work fine. Problem with your server?

More than 30 years after I abandoned guitar (further to 5 years of struggling through books and failing to make real progress) I received a cheap guitar as a Christmas present. I didn’t hod out much hope that I’d get passionate about learning all over again but I did feel that YouTube could help me in a way that books never had. But which guitar teaching method to subscribe to? It took me a month of lurching from one vid to another before I got hooked on Justin. I finally downloaded the app and I love the structure of the modules so even though I’m relearning I have gone through them all one by one and have just finished grade 1. Much of it isn’t so new to me but there’s barely a single module where I don’t learn something. And I can already hear the difference. So motivating! So I’m looking forward to grade 2 and beyond. At grade 3 I’ve promised myself an amp upgrade and Justin even has tips on that…well worth the subscription fee!

Need that intermediate course app asap! 😜

the App is definitely greta to practice songs and module routines which is already great. Worth purchasing the monthly subscription.
Howerver, the fact that the app doesn't go beyond begginer courses is a pity.
Therfore I am not sure the yearly subscription is worth the price.
The website does a fantastic job and the fact that it is entirely free makes me think that it is worth putting some money in Justin's pocket to make sure it remains free to those who would not be able to afford it if they had to pay.
I have been recommended Justin as the best online teacher out there and he may very well be so.
Thanks dude! I wouldn't be able to start the guitar at my age if it wasn't for you.

A must to start with !

A lot of thought has gone into this app. It works seamlessly and is really enjoyable and motivating to learn more. Very enjoyable and motivational. Love the chord changes to songs that one knows.

Simple, step by step approach tells you exactly what to do - what I needed to kickstart my guitar discovery.
First course that did that. Very happy with it. Definately worth the money.

Every single thing he gets you to do works. It isn’t complicated, it you put in the practice and follow each step you will be surprised how easy it is. It’s everything you’ll ever need and more!

Just started learning, this has a great structure, easy to follow with good progression. Everything is really well explained, I use it everyday. Plus it has ~10 minute practice if you’re short on time

If you’re planning to start playing the guitar or trying to get back to it, this app is for you! The pedagogy of Justin is non-questionable. He keeps reassuring you that all your struggling is normal and you’ll make it through with patience, practice, and will-power. Give it a try! You won’t regret it!
