App ist ohne ein Premium Abo nicht nutzbar.

App ist seit letzem Update plötzlich nur noch gegen Gebühr nutzbar, da eine Paywall eingebaut wurde. Wurde aber vorher nicht darauf hingewiesen, daher fällt das für mich in die Kategorie Abzocke!

Sadly for me there‘s no way to open the app anymore on the 7+ on iOS11.3

The way you advertising is build seems rude and I don't feel appreciated as a reader. Your choice, my opinion. Even though 9to5 seems to spend the earned money on the right people for your articles.

Also the no ads button at the top is more annoying than the actual ads. The new app loads whole websites, whereas the old one only showed arranged text and video/photo

9to5MacBreakingTechNews wird leider gelöscht, da man diese nur noch im Abo richtig nutzen kann, ansonsten auf drei Artikel pro Tag limitiert ist

I would rather pay for it and not having the adds ticker.
Apart from that the number of articles you have access to is limited to a few days.
Better use the website directly.

Sehr schlechte Umsetzung... kenne kaum eine 9to5MacBreakingTechNews so schlampig umgesetzt und vor allem langsam ist!

For quite some time I can‘t access the comments section to read comments nor do for example polls work (cant see them) as well as images are not properly showing up sometimes…

Beside the add free subscription I really do expect more!

System: both latest iOS 15 and latest iOS 16 (no beta).
Hardware: iPhone 12 ProMax & iPhone 14 ProMax

The app is not working properly and pictures can't be opened. Also the developer hasn't been updated the app for years.

Crashes all the time on IOS10. Annoying.

The new layout showing only a picture instead of a headline makes the app nearly useless. I don’t want to click on every topic to see if it’s interesting to me…

I really love the 9to5 work and all the great written articles. Even the videos are amazing.

But I can’t understand this app:
Push notifications are great, add free for premium pay is totally fine.

But you can better:
no read/unread option, comments are horrible to read, sometimes not even in the right sortings, links to other articles open the inapp browser for the website not the article in the app, comments posting - inapp browser, images in dark mode to bright, you can’t tap on an image to zoom it and much more.

Hope we will see a much better app in the future

The app and there functions are really nice (working in Safe Mode). Good and fluent layout. Especially the Widget is very sick!
But please bring an update so it's working without SM.

I have the monthly subscription. Why do I have to see advertising, when I want to see the comments of a news? Can you please integrate the comments in the non advertising section? Thx

The App is great content-wise, but the automatic refresh doesn't work (neither in the widget).

Finally there - but articles and pictures loading so slow that I went back to old shortcut to 9to5 website. Pls update

The App is unclear to use and has hardly any standard features.

Like that you’ve updated it with dark mode so so quickly. However just one comment, I think it would be even better if you had a dark mode version of the pictures with your articles. The text all looks great but most of your photos have white backgrounds and really stand out with the dark mode enabled.

9to5mac ist eine recht informative Seite rund um Apple Produkte, aber 9to5MacBreakingTechNews ist nicht so anschaulich wie die Webseite 😅 aber kommt noch (hoffe ich )

The app works fine, and you get the best Apple news on the net, but the app cache keeps growing up to hundreds of MB, and you have no option to clear it besides uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

The content is good and the articles are nice to read. I read you guys for 3 to 4 years and it is awesome!

I really appreciate that there's a add-free version for this app and willing to spend money. Unfortunately, in the current version I'm unable to restore my paid subscription on my devices running iOS 10.3.

I love 9to5mac but this app has two major flaws:
👎 Way to much notifications (even with „Breaking News Only“ enabled). Really neither the F8-Conf nor „Tim Cook calls the iPhone a beloved product“ is breaking news.
👎 Only subscription possible to remove ads.
