The app doesn’t even save playback position across watch sessions, which in my opinion is a required feature when launching a video platform with longform content. Aside from that the app‘s UI is inconsistent at best and realistically feels like it was done in a rush. Why are there three ways to get to „Home“, „Series“, and „Collections“? Why do only some of them work reliably? What‘s up with the error in the side menu? (THE NUMBER OF MONTHLY UPDATING USERS HAS EXCEEDED THE FREE TIER'S QUOTA FOR THIS ACCOUNT. SUBSCRIBE TO EXPO APPLICATION SERVICES TO REMOVE THIS LIMIT.)
At this point Beacon is unfortunately not worth the money. I hope this changes with future updates, but at the moment this app (and with it using the service on a mobile device) is a disappointment.
Airplay support

I want to watch on my tv, and since there is no tv app I am using Airplay to cast from the ios app. It is a cool app, but the problem is subtitles don’t appear on the tv, they appear on the app so I can’t use subtitles. And since the videos don’t play in the background, casting stops when you minimize the app. Also, the default video player would be better at least in the full screen mode, because things like fast forwarding are much easier that way. Hope these get fixed soon.

Really cool App, it’s great to finally have all things critical role together and support the “nerdy voice actors” via their own platform. But a background playback functionality for videos would be very very nice. Also I cannot adjust my full screen video to cover my entire screen.
If these two things are fixed, it’s five stars from me
