No lightstick support

The app allegedly has a lightstick support, but seems to be very much bugged at the moment. No matter what I did, I couldn't get the lightstick in pairing mode (blinking blue) to be recognized by the app. I see the name of the lightstick in the Bluetooth settings of my phone (14 Pro Max), but the app refuses to connect somehow. We also tried on my boyfriend's phone (13 Pro Max); it looked like it went through, but the app said the connection was weak and it had to be reconnected while nothing changed on the lighstick's end: it was still blinking blue and was in pairing mode.....
