Continually reloads the articles. They must have to many functions and measurement bots running in the background. I'm lucky to read the first two sentences before it reloads.
When you start the app it takes longer then other news apps to load. When you click on an a headline to read the article it takes forever to open and even worse to top it off you get a failure warning and it blacks out and reloads. And reloads again. And again...
Their app has so many things running in the background that my iPad can't keep up with all their tracking that it constantly reloads. To counter this I will try emailing myself the article so I can at least read it later, but that doesn't always function well with opening the email at the same time their app is open.
Email function has less support over the last months. Finally,I am a paid subscriber and there is no function to leave comments.
In conclusion, I would tell me friends not to subscribe to them. I only gave two stars because of the excellent journalism which deserves all five stars but the crappy app only should receive one star.

I have a premium subscription without tracking and ads. The app still displays ads and keeps tracking me.
//Edit in response to dev comment about there being ads in all WP apps/adfree only on website: Thanks for your response. Oddly enough the other WP app does not display any ads once I am logged in. It is only this, the classic app, not respecting my subscription.

Just discovered today, as a new subscriber for some weeks, that there really are comments available to the Post articles. Unfortunately not in the app, what saddens me, only on their website. Disappointing ...
