A traditional Advent Calendar is a Christmas scene printed on cardboard, with little paper windows – one for each day of Advent – which open to reveal further Christmas scenes, so the user can count the days to Christmas.
For our 2022 Advent Calendar, we’re inviting you to spend Christmas in an ancient village in the historic southern English county of Sussex.
Every day a new surprise will reveal itself – and on top of that, you’ll find books, games, puzzles and beautiful scenes, with festive music accompanying the fun as we count down to Christmas.
Strictly, Advent starts on the fourth Sunday before Christmas and ends on Christmas Eve, but most modern Advent Calendars – ours included – start the Christmas countdown on 1st December.
This Christmas, let us transport you to a pretty English village for 25 days of seasonal fun, with hidden surprises, games, puzzles, and all manner of Christmas activities.
Incorporating the wonderful art and music for which our ecards have justly become famous, it has become an unmissable part of the countdown to Christmas for thousands of families across the world.
Here at Jacquie Lawson, we’ve been making interactive digital Advent Calendars for over 10 years.
