The app operates under a guise of delivering news but falls significantly short of journalistic integrity. My experience has revealed a troubling pattern of russian propaganda and a consistent spread of misinformation. The app fails to maintain objectivity, often presenting unverified or blatantly false information as fact.
Beta was amazing but now has way too much junk and subscriptions

Love the insta account. The app is a different. It takes too many clicks to go through news. What I like about the insta account isn’t available in the app.
I heavily dislike the XP and streak stuff, I’m here for news
I like roca but what’s up with XP and streaks? You need to level up in a news app? Seriously?! I thought this was supposed to be a good news app not a game. The UI definitely needs to be improved too.
Other than that, the app definitely has potential as long as you guys listen to feedback and improve the app. Wish you all the best.

For the app: I really don’t care for all the game aspects. Too me it seems to slow down my reading experience. Maybe this is something that could be enabled/ disabled for those who like it and those who don’t.
Something that especially bothers me right now:
I don’t see why there need to be extra clicks for ‘read now’ and especially the lengthy ‘hold to complete’. These make me prefer reading roca on instagram, where I can just scroll and swipe.
Same thing with the mid-slide quizzes. I don’t really care for those too much and wish they were optional.
Maybe in the future there could be an overall slimmed down version without all those gimmicks and more text per slide?
Love the news on instagram - it’s well written, provides enough context and is very snackable/fast to read. Really appreciate that!
The app on the other hand has a gamification concept that I find bizarre and a bit infantile. Holding buttons just to see fireworks and move onto another news, slow interface and bad graphical design from the 90s is does not add any value and makes me continue reading on instagram…
Love the news though. Please keep the app simple ;)
Delivering news more neutral than any other outlet I know and limiting the the content so you're not trapped on the app. Great App!
