🏷️ Über: MaskerAid allows you to quickly and easily add emoji to images. Add emoji for jokes, to call attention to things, hide faces, and more! When you load an image with MaskerAid, it will AUTOMATICALLY detect all the faces in that photo, and obscure them with an emoji.
The app idea is quite nice, but it’s janky all the way. For example Emoji sizing and rotation jump when readjusting them and the emoji drawer jumps in and out without much of a transition. Neither is a deal-breaker, but an app with a task this simple I would expect to be very polished.
Does exactly what it sets out to do.
I wish it would expose an action to images for quickly importing them so you don’t have to go through the camera roll.
Support for older iOS versions (kids often use hand-me-downs…) would be great. Even if the face detection would have to be omitted for old devices it would have value…
A wonderful little app that serves a single purpose and serves it well.
