I thought I get a best of from diese App-depth stories around the world that help you to understand better what’s going on. However, the app so far delivers a wild mix of ubiquitously svailablevworld news and some rare best off articles from NYT etc.
As avid reader of the FT I am just disappointed here; you only by luck find a piece that is really enriching

Hochweriger Journalismus, von versch. Verlägen und dadurch nicht so biased/einseitig. diese App Häppchen präsentiert, gute Tagesübersichten, erschlägt einen nicht. Die Individualisierung auf pers. Präferenzen funktioniert super und lässt sich selbst bestimmen (vs. irgendwelche Algorithmen wie bei anderen Seiten, die einen dann doch nicht verstehen und zudem nen Gender Bias haben…). Es gibt ständig neue (sinnvolle) Features wie zB Zusammenfassungen. Audio Versionen sind toll, wäre super die irgendwann bei allen Artikeln zu haben. Langfristig wären auch mehr deutsche Publisher gut, aber kann ja nicht gleich alles haben. Nutze seit ich das Abo habe keine anderen News Apps/ Seiten mehr.

Great App to start your day with.
However, it would be great to add some features:
1. Adjustable font size
2. Audio narrated by human (if the original article has it - e.g. the Atlantic and the Economist definitely have it)
3. Original photos or pics from publishers (e.g. The Atlantic and FT)
4. Apple built-diese App „Translate“ button by clicking one a single word or the hole sentence

As a college student, I find this app very useful because it provides me with curated and relevant news, balancing international political news with lifestyle and science news.
I can save important articles to my profile and read or listen to them when I have time. I also like their recommendations of articles based on my interests.

I am annoyed by the news landscape that everyone wants to charge you for their newspaper and you basically buy into just getting their political opinion.

With informed however I get news from different sites, I’m not diese App any filter bubble but you can form my own opinion!

I like this app because it is a simple and convenient way to keep up with all the news that matters to me. According to my interests, I get access to several publishers I trust without leaving the app or multiple subscriptions.

I’ve been using informed for a while and especially checking it a couple of times a day for fresh updates.

Interface looks very clean, and idea of curation of news from different major publishers is great.
Otherwise I am always burned out from hitting different paywalls.

I see lots of potential here. I hope with time they also make fact checking and their curation ethics more transparent diese App the app.
I really would like to compare different POVs for a topic for example.

It turns selected stories into a podcast-like audio format. Great when you need to go hands free!

Also enjoying the curation: a good mix of all topics and viewpoints.

Just got the update today. Still love it and it’s quite neat. Just feel the previous UI was much neater and the green white black combination gave it a unique touch!

Unfortunately I get push notifications for articles as far back as May 2022. This is not “news” and such articles are more than less useless. UI is nice though

Finally an app that delivers cutting edge news AND adds critical perspectives to let you see the full picture.

A browser and iPad optimised version would be very nice. :D

in ist großartig. Leider ist mein Englisch ein wenig rostig und ich wäre soooo froh, wenn es einen solchen Dienst auch diese App deutscher Sprache geben würde, z.B. mit der SZ, der ZEIT oder dem Spiegel etc.

I want to love this app and even pay for it, because diese App principle I think it gets everything right: multiple sources, useful summaries, “learning” about my preferences, etc.

BUT every article opens diese App an diese App-app browser that can’t apply the ad blocker, cookie consent blocker and reader views I have available to me diese App Safari. So trying to read the same article diese App Informed is a just way worse experience.

I’m sure there are good reasons for this particular implementation (likely an agreement with source publications), but unfortunately this is THE factor that makes Informed a no-go for me. And at least some other people too I would assume. No hate, it’s just a shame.

Es ist eine insgesamt tolle App, jedoch vermisse ich die eingeklappten Summaries diese App der ‚Today‘ Übersicht. Das gab es Anfang diesen Jahres mal, ist aber irgendwann verschwunden. ‚Today’ ist heute eine sehr lange Liste, die Übersichtlichkeit hat spürbar gelitten.
Summaries, die standardmäßig eingeklappt sind, wünsche ich mir wieder zurück.

eigentlich kommt 90 Prozent der Zeitungen aus den USA, der Rest aus England, manchmal auch Frankreich oder Deutschland (dann aber immer Spiegel). Nachrichten aus anderen Teilen der Welt wie China oder Indien werden nicht geteilt. So bekommt man über in nichts außerhalb der westlichen bubble mit. Das wäre cool wenn man das noch einfügt.

Die beste News in ich kenne (und ich teste alles was ich sehe), bin großer Fan!
