Attention - trial offer might be fake

FT Edit promised 6 months for 0.99 each. But it in reality it charged 5.49. Apple - as the seller - declares as „unable to help“.

Made for iPhone usage

Turned into being my favorite news apps currently. Articles are great and listening alongside reading them is what I was missing in other news apps. Price/value is matched perfectly.

Unsure about the layout on the iPad - landscape reading is not for me. Would love to see it horizontally. Otherwise, hats off to the team.

No history and only in landscape orientation on iPad

I personally like the selection of topics. Especially users who already have several subscriptions of other (cheaper) newspaper might appreciate this curated selection of articles.

But technically there is room for improvement:
– I would like to have a history that allows me to go back more than 7 days. Instead one can bookmark articles but bookmarks are not synchronized across app instances (are they?).
– The layout of the UI for iPads assumes that articles are read in landscape orientation. Instead it should allow both portrait and landscape orientation if there is no orientation lock set.

Good and affordable price

Thank you for great idea and great app.
Several suggestions:
1. Audios for article
2. Summary of the news of the day. Just a few sentences what is going on and why is it important to know/follow
3. Collection of articles. For example it would be great to have quick access to all articles from one series (Understanding AI, Chinese New Year, etc.)
4. Adjustable font and text size

Very good

An iPad version would be greatly appreciated.

Great redux of FT writing

Good app and concise selection of a manageable number of articles per day.
Only issue is that content is a little too UK-centric, which given Britain‘s somewhat diminished role, the FT‘s claim as a „global newspaper“ and its international audience could be rebalanced. Otherwise great.
