Permanent online Connection required. Additionally an energy system and a lot … very lot of Ingame purchases / inapp purchases. The connection to the server seems very unstable. Even in wlan or 5G. I’m a bit frustrated.
Das Spiel sieht grafisch super aus und die Story, die dahinter steckt wird bestimmt wieder großartig sein. Wäre da nicht der Online Zwang, dann wären 5 Sterne als Top Bewertung nicht genug. Leider verliert das Spiel für mich dadurch viel an Attraktivität. Ich spiel Demo überwiegend Unterwegs mit nicht unbedingt stabiler Verbindung.
Visually it’s a treat for the eyes with its beautiful and soft colors and the Ghibli-like art style. Sound quality as always superb. No performance issues until now. Obviously takes quite the amount of battery percentage, nothing new on higher quality games.
Unfortunately though, it has a F2P high time investment with energy system implemented gameplay OR/AND inapp purchase for the VIP status with the progression system as to earn additional rewards, which are only available within the purchasable VIP status. I’d still support the developers by purchasing the VIP status, but don’t like energy system mechanics within games.
Then, again, many albums are also IAP, which I’d again buy every now and then to support the developers. Yet, the songs aren’t anything outstanding as in “whoaa this sounds awesome”. Almost all of the songs sounded flat to me. I’m not sure if it’s just because I only heard the previews or didn’t play them though, but it didn’t sound like I’d miss on something awesome or catchy.
All in all, Deemo II is a treat for the eyes to play every now and then casually. It doesn’t add anything outstanding with its time consuming system though, in contrary it’s more of a hindrance. I’d rather pay a higher price per song pack instead.
I love the actual core game - it’s a really well executed rhythm game - but it’s full of app currencies / boosts / purchases etc and requires an internet connection to play.

1 Stern Abzug jedoch für das Energie System das sehr beschränkend werden könnte später im Spiel mit 120 min Wartezeit für 1ne Energie
Und für das neue charting der Songs, es ist leider nicht mehr so… natürlich? vom Gefühl her, man muss sich sehr konzentrieren um zu verstehen was als Nächstes getippt werden muss
