Most stupid services on earth

To update a none working European phone number is like walking from Lagos to London. These criminals and rascals will just do anything to frustrate Nigerians.

If they knew one can not update their phone number why put the option in the first place.

Give this stupid NIN thing more 3 years it will fade away and they will come up with something else to steal from the people. Shameless goons.

Bloody useless

What exactly is the point of this app?

Terrible for Nigerians in diaspora

Because some officials want to make money, several APIs that provide functionality for the app seem to have shut down. Thus rendering the several features of app useless.

If you have been issued a National Identification Number (NIN) by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), you are welcome to download this application to use as a complement to, or in place of the physical National Identity Card.

Introducing Mobile Web Services (MWS), a new suite of Personal Identity tokens and services, developed, administered and managed by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).

This MobileID Application is issued by the NIMC on behalf of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and serves as a valid means of Identification anywhere a Nigerian (or legal resident) is required to present an ID Token.

The NIMC will collaborate with sister agencies such as the FIRS, FRSC, JAMB, NAFDAC, NHIS and any other Federal or State Government that wishes to provide eServices to citizens via a secure platform.

The NIMC is also improving the design of the National Identification Number (NIN) Slip, which may also be verified using this App.
